Historia
When Detective Nick Fourcade enters the home of Genevieve Gauthier outside the sleepy town of Bayou Breaux, Louisiana, the bloody crime scene that awaits him is both the most brutal and the most confusing he's ever seen. Couldn't turn it off
Revisado: 08-18-19
1st I have to say, I'm from Beaux Bridge and from a french speaking household. The accent and punctuation was beautiful and made me miss home. 2nd, the story line had me on edge. My co-workers was so into my sounds that they had to order the book themselves. Overall very well written and well read. I'm a huge fan!

Historia
When a body is found stuffed into a barrel at a garbage dump, covered in long red lacerations, Detective Jenna Alton and her new deputy, David Kane, rush to the scene. Nothing ever happens in the small American town of Black Rock Falls, so Jenna believes the victim must be one of two recent missing persons, and she fears for the life of the other. Both were strangers to the town, but there's nothing else to link them. Jenna knows someone must have seen something, but no one's talking.

Great story
Revisado: 03-27-19
The story was awesome with the twist and turns. I love the characters and their interactions but and there is a but, the reader. The reader was terrible. I she had more character. It was hard to tell the difference between the male to female characters. There was a sudden change in the reading in the last chapter. Did they change readers? I loved the story and will probably just get the book from the library and read it myself because I really enjoy the author but until I read better reviews about the reader I just can't listen to her. Sorry

Loved It
Revisado: 02-12-19
I really enjoyed listening to the book. the reading was exquisite and as it is a struggle to sound like a man, she did a marvelous job in doing so. I can't wait to listen to the next book in the series. Well done!

Historia
The Old West town of Lily, Arizona, is home to the Gilded Lily, a former theater…and bawdy house. These days, it offers theatrical productions geared to tourists, but the recent discovery of a skull, a real skull, among the props and costumes shakes everyone up. So, who do you call? The Krewe of Hunters, a special FBI unit of paranormal investigators. In this case, it’s agent Jane Everett. Jane’s also a talented artist who creates images of the dead as they once were. But the Krewe always works with local law enforcement, and here that means Sloan Trent, former Houston cop and now sheriff. His great-great-grandmother was an actress at the Gilded Lily…and she’s not resting in peace. Then more remains appear in the nearby desert. As they search for answers, using all the skills at their disposal, Jane and Sloan find themselves falling into danger — and into love.

Luke Daniels

Luke Daniels seems to get better and better with each book he narrates. He really bring the words alive. I'm truly in love with this series of books and I can't stop thanking my co-worker for turning me onto Hesther Graham and her Krewe of Hunters.
