This is a very important story written in real time prior to WWII in Germany showing how a liberal democracy can be taken over by those who do not wish us well. Let this be a lesson to us all and wake up out of our complacency.

Must listen if you love Clarissa Pinkola Estes

I am a devotee and super fan of Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes and I recommend her to all women on their spiritual journey, especially in their croning. For this reason I highly recommend this title. I do enjoy her interaction with her co-author/co-host. What makes this title less than 5-star is that the other speaker comes across to me as a little snarky and judgmental of certain women trying to get in touch with their spiritual side, even almost making fun of them as they seek to tap into their intuition. Sorry we don’t come by it as naturally as she does. As for Dr. Estes, there are 1000s of us who would love her spiritual mentorship and listening to her voice is hypnotic and soothing. At any rate, it is worth a listen. I’ve listened to this 2x already and I would listen again but I would listen to her Dangerous Old Women series again and again without end.

So grateful for this deep dive into Jung and astrology from intelligent m, thinking, educated, well-spoken women who can help legitimize the importance of the divine feminine and how to finally get back to it after its destruction in the Bronze Age. Refreshing for those of us thirsty for a new world where each person is free to balance their feminine and masculine sides, freeing the Great Mother from her long bondage in chains locked and left hidden in the cellar of the the patriarchal over culture.

Listening to Dr. Estes is like listening to your Goddess Mother pass down the wisdom of all of you grandmothers. You had that thrill of the 5 year ole girl being gently tucked in and caressed by a loving grandmother giving you advice through stories that you will take out a d remember one day, exclaiming “aha! This is what ah spoke of!”
