Too short. Lol. Wish it has been longer. I suppose I had thought I was listening to Treasure Island for some reason.

I believe I’ve found my next great author of the action thriller genre!
Revisado: 02-23-22
Now that I’ve read James Patterson’s first four installments in his Alex Cross series, I’m beginning to get into a rhythm. Patterson’s Alex Cross persona along with a number of the usual suspects of characters he has created are very believable. Although I truly hope there are not many of the characters or rather villains in reality that are portrayed on these pages! It does give me reassurance however, to know that mind like that of Alex Cross are on the case! I enjoy the way Patterson keeps you engaged in the plot, as it takes numerous sharp turns and occasionally backtracks and winds circuitously, but always with a purpose. Keeping you engaged through to the spine tingling conclusion to one case, and without missing a beat, carry’s you into the next installment. So now, sit back, relax if you dare, but be prepared to take action. Whatever you do though, enjoy!

Sherlock and Savitch still have a few moves left. Keeping ahead of the CIA. Could there be a rogue operative?
Revisado: 08-28-21
In this thriller, an embedded agent in Iraq is compromised, and a member of the extraction team may be the one who blew the op.
Two elite college pals rufee a gamer coed at a frat rave & she ends up dead. They cover up the murder, and for 7 years they assume they got away with it all. The stakes have risen in their eyes as they are both stepping into their parent’s shoes: one at the helm of the family business, the other running for the mayor of NYC. They errantly believe there is nothing to connect them to a series of date rapes. When two photos appear that tie them to their felonious youth, all kinds of action breaks loose!
Fade back to the blown op in Iraq. The man who may or may not be a rogue agent of the CIA is in hiding. His lover and teammate is convinced he’s innocent but needs assistance to prove it. Next thing she knows she’s being targeted by a French arms dealer’s thugs to determine her lovers whereabouts. Enter Agents Sherlock and Savitch of the FBI, since she shot and killed one of the two assassins who came to capture and interrogated her. Making this a domestic jurisdiction. The ensuing game of cloak and dagger will keep you on the edge of your seat.
As for the two college chums, who’ve been each other’s best friends since childhood, will now find that friendship put to the test. Will the mayoral candidate and his best friend get away with a series of date rapes and murder? A clever and persistent best friend of the deceased girl, now a reporter earning her stripes may just be their undoing. That combined with their elite attitude and arrogance, assuming that they are untouchable! All the action and intrigue you could want in a read that you won’t want to put down until the very end! Whether this is your first exposure to the genius that is Catherine Coulter, or you, like myself have read all of her FBI series, you’re sure to be entertained and your thinking challenged!

In true Clive Cussler style, the action continues to keep you engaged from prologue right through to epilogue!
Revisado: 07-15-21
I love the way details are thought out throughout the entirety of this Kurt Austin Novel. The characters are believable the suspense tangible at times. The good vs evil is authentic and the scenarios believable. I’ve read every volume written by Clive Cussler and his collaborators. The reasons I keep coming back are numerous. Whether it’s an Oregon Files, NUMA Files, Dirk Pitt Series, Fargo Series, or others, you’re certain to be entertained. With the historical fiction, there’s a great dusting of legitimate and well researched history as well. Whether this is your first Clive Cussler read, or you are a returning reader. I’m supremely confident you will enjoy Fast Ice! -Dan Kunz-

Historia
When it comes to Eve Duncan, never say never…Is she dead or alive? That is the question on everybody's lips. Eve appears to have been the victim of James Doane, the psychopath who kidnapped her and forced her to use her skills as a forensic sculptor to reconstruct the skull of his depraved son. That's what everyone attending her funeral thinks, at least. But not even some of her top-brass colleagues know for sure whether her death is a hoax - a way to ensnare her brutal captor once and for all.

Iris Johansen continues to fascinate, capture, and thrill us as her reading audience.
Revisado: 06-22-20
Iris Johansen has such depth and diversity in the development and molding of each character in her Eve Duncan series. Just when you would swear she could not possibly outdo herself, she comes through with amazing results her again! I can’t give a thorough review without revealing how valuable I find the Audible production of this volume. I admit that as with most sagas, being able to have read each prior volume gives more continuity to the story line and the defining of each character. However, even if you were to simply pick up this volume as your very first Eve Duncan read, I’m quite certain you will be drawn into a web of intrigue, that will ensure a very high likelihood that you will almost immediately upon completion, reach out for your next Eve Duncan novel. In this genre Iris Johansen can easily be associated with the finest story tellers at your disposal. So... do yourself a favor. Either embrace this as your introduction to Iris Johansen and her cast of characters in the Eve Duncan series, or start with the very first in the series. Either way, I’m confident you will find it a most rewarding experience to read. Listening to the book as an Audible volume, particularly with the wonderful woman reading you the story is a most excellent bonus. Enjoy!
