Historia
Burnt out after running his own business, James Anthony arrives in the pastel skies of Florida's Key West to start a journey of catharsis. His destination? Deadhorse, Alaska, on the edge of the Arctic Ocean, via the backroads of the continent. Dodging burly wildlife keen to take a bite out of him, Anthony meets the quirky, good-hearted folk of North America’s backwaters, learning how Britain influenced the continent’s history, much of it painfully unsavoury.

An amazing un-retouched view of modern USA
Revisado: 07-20-23
It took a bit before I became used to Mr. Anthony's slightly stilted way of reading his own work and his attempts at mimicking a Southern accent simply failed. However his recounting of his trip and his insights into the people, diversity of life styles, and immeasurable beauty of this vast and cherished nation, was well worth quelling my tendency to over-critique reading styles. Thank you, Mr. Anthony for recording it all for the rest of us!😎

Will Rachel perform Anne of Avonlea?
Revisado: 12-18-22
Rachel McAdams did a masterful job of capturing Anne's beautiful spirit through her performance. I am hoping to find she has also performed Anne of Avonlea?

I had to get past knowing Mr. Wheaton's voice from STNG and BBT but once I did, it was great! I want to listen to the other Andrew Weir offerings available here but have to wait for another credit to accrue 😉
