Loving the Empyrean series... this sequel did not disappoint! That's not to say that Violet doesn't annoy me at times but that didn't keep me from getting into the storyline.

I was skeptical at first since it was covid related but you hit a point where you're just like "whaaaaat" and it drags you in the rest of the way! Loved this story!

Really enjoyed this story and all the emotions it involves. This is the second Colleen Hoover book I've read and I'm really enjoying her writing. I look forward to the next one.

Wonderful and real. I love reading stories with real struggles and real issues in the world and this was that. Opioid addiction is real and it has shattered so many families.

I enjoyed the peek into Edward's mind in the various situations he found himself in. It was much more intense in thought than it fully appeared in the originally. I was having a hard time getting into the book so I switched to the audio version and that helped me get through this. I was just not in the frame of mind to read it but enjoyed it nonetheless!

Beautiful and touching with a side of troubles. Each sister fighting their own demons coming together again after the loss of their one of a kind grandmother. At the resort, they each find that they can no longer fight their demons alone and one by one they find comfort in releasing burdens they've held onto for so many years. There was so much growth and healing that came from loss and with that grew romances they each didn't really see coming. I loved loved every bit of this story and it was so heart warming as usual. Carolyn Brown is one of those authors who can touch your heart with each story she tells.

So whimsical with a touch of angst. I loved this story and I wasn't too sure I would since I'm not really into the whole Renaissance faire thing. Simon definitely irritated me with his back and forth but I knew once he came into the picture that he'd be the one for Emily. Emily broke my heart with her feelings of not being good enough because she is so much more and deserves a true unconditional love. The story was fun and quirky and the ending was everything! I look forward to checking out the next in the series!

Elizabeth Acevedo writes with such passion and raw beauty. I first listened to The Poet X as my first book written by her not knowing the style in which she writes. After that, I knew there was no other way I would read her books. I will listen to the audio versions because only then are you truly immersed in her world.

Clap When You Land is sad, emotional, beautiful, inspiring, hopeful. It brings light to the very real tragedy that this story sheds light on. Yahaira and Camino, two sisters unaware of the others existence until they were both 16 years old. My heart broke for these two girls, the separate lives they led, the secrets they kept, the secrets that were kept from them, the personal traumas they went through. In the end, these women along with Yahaira's mom grew stronger and closer than they ever thought possible. It took one man, their father, living two lives to die in order for their families to officially come together.

I can't say enough and look forward to listening to the next one, With the Fire on High.

Good for what it was. A super short story on the 12 dancing princesses and the princes a few meet. Their father allows whichever man who can find out what his daughters are doing while he is sleeping to marry one of his daughters. It had some funny moments and again, for as short a story as it was, I enjoyed it.
