The narrators brought this book to life!

I loved this book when I read it. But the narrators brought this book to life! Teddy and Virginia do such a fabulous job of adding the extra nuances to the characters that it almost like was reading the story for the first time.
I absolutely love Begonia and how happily she lives her life. Hayes is the perfect grumpy grey cloud counterpart to Begonia's sunshine. But every cloud has a silver lining, or in Hayes' case a platinum, diamond and pearl encrusted lining, along with a soft hearted center. From the first page to the last The Last Eligible Billionaire had me smiling and laughing. Begonia's and Hayes' story was funny and wonderful, and sucked me right in. Add in Marshmallow, the thrice failed service dog, a wacky twin sister, and some loveable family members and you have a wonderful book you won't be able to put down.

Such a great story!

I loved Sky's and Gabe's story. Aubrey Vincent was fabulous, and Jim Steele was good, but I couldn't quite get over his accent. I kept picturing the SNL Colonel Angus skit.

Damnit! Amy Daws' heroes just keep getting better and better. I thought Gareth was my favorite, and then I met Roan! So many swoon worthy moments!! Hearing the sexy South African accent made the book all the more enjoyable!

Will Watt's Scottish accent had me swooning! SEXY!

Good lord! How does Amy continue to make these men hotter and more swoon worthy as the series progresses? I need a Mac of my own. I totally fell in love with both Freya and Mac and their beautiful friends to lovers story. And good gods, get the Audible version too!!! Will Watt's Scottish accent had me swooning!! So damn sexy!

Puck Money my new fave in the Vegas Crush series

John does a great job of putting on a slight accent as Boris. hearing some of the things Boris says is totally swoon worthy! Puck Money may be my new favorite book in the Vegas Crush series. Boris and Talia are the sweetest, most endearing, down to earth couple of the series. Puck Money follows the no fraternization pattern of the other books, but not because Crush policy this time.
Talia is a young, nerdy, super smart, financial advisor new to Las Vegas. Her company moved her to Vegas to start fresh after she had an affair with a married client (she didn't know he was married,BTW).
Borris is new to the Crush after a recent trade from Austin. He is excited to play on a team with a great lineup, and is looking to settle down, not take advantage of the crazy night life and puck bunnies Vegas has to offer.
The two meet when Borris' agent recommends Talia as his new financial advisor. The chemistry is instant for both of them, but Talia has been burned by a client before and is very hesitant to jump in. Borris sees this and holds back. A lot of sweet and steamy romance ensues, as well as some intrigue and danger. But it all ends with a nerdy, swoon worthy HEA that captured this nerd's heart.

Sexy Russian accent & a super steamy love story!

I absolutely loved Red Rocket, and devoured it in one day! And OMG! John Lane's Russian accent made this book even better!! This super steamy love story had me hooked from the start. Scarlett's and Victor's chemistry is off the charts, but her past, and the Crush's no fraternization policy, make her a bit wary of the Mad Russian. Viktor may be the Mad Russian on the ice, but he is a sweet guy out of the rink, and is looking for more than a puck bunny to settle down with. Their story takes us from Vegas, to Tahoe, to Russia, with a perfect HEA. It was great to catch up with the other 2 couples from the series, and to get to see what the players do in the off season. Britt has "crushed" it with the 3rd book in the Vegas Crush series. I can't wait to read the next book in the series, Puck Money.

Sweet and Steamy

I loved Pam's and Georg's story. I loved it when I firstbread it in 2019, but now that I actually get to hear Georg's hot AF Russian accent... Whew! I had to turn on the AC!!
Pam and Georg both overcame their pasts and fought for what they wanted; a chance at happiness with eachother. Their story was sweet and steamy. I can't wait to see what else Brit has in store for the Vegas Crush team.

I loved hearing Evan's voice!

Another great story by one of my favorite authors writing as Brit DeMille. John Lane was amazing as Evan! I read the book when it was released and loved it. When the Audible version was released I was so excited to revisit the story and hear Evan's sexy Russian tinged British accent. I was not disapointed!! I was listening to it at work and had to stop, it was so hot!!!
In Crushed we get to follow a new hockey team, the Vegas Crush, and their race to the Stanley Cup. The story centers on Evan one of the star players, and Holly the new social media manager. Their chemistry is instant and hot. Evan pursues Holly, but the teams no fraternization policy is holding her back. But don't worry, the Evan, Holly and the team definitely get their HEA. I thoroughly enjoyed Crushed (I listened it in 1 day), and can't wait for Georg's and Pam's story in Sin Shot.

Beautiful story, but the whispering!!!

Winter Fire is one of my favorite Elizabeth Lowell books. I love Sarah's and Case's story. The narration has an almost ASMR quality, but the whispering! The damn whispering drove me nuts! The characters whisper often in the book, so the narrator whispers the dialogue. Really whispers, which makes it hard to hear; especially when I'm driving. I spent the whole day driving with my hand on the volume; turning it up when she whispered the dialog so that I could hear over the road noise, and turning it back down when she stopped whispering so I would blow out my car's speakers.

Shane East gives the Sexy Ethan Blackstone life
