Historia
Winter is coming. Such is the stern motto of House Stark, the northernmost of the fiefdoms that owe allegiance to King Robert Baratheon in far-off King's Landing. There Eddard Stark of Winterfell rules in Robert's name. Far to the north, behind the towering Wall, lie savage Wildings and worse - unnatural things relegated to myth during the centuries-long summer, but proving all too real and all too deadly in the turning of the season. Yet a more immediate threat lurks to the south, where Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King, has died under mysterious circumstances....

Don’t love the narrator
Revisado: 06-28-23
I’ve listened to the ASOIAF series multiple times. So much so, that I go through the series over and over as something to fall asleep to. This listen, I’ve been having trouble sleeping. The narrator managed to give Drogo a semi-racist accent, then forgot to also give the same one to his bloodridders. They sounded like westerocy knights. Like Sir Barriston LOL
He’s not terrible, but he’s definitely not my favorite narrator.

Historia
Abandoned by his god and chained in the bilge of Iremaire’s war galley, Khraen has lost everything. His only friend is dead, his undead wife beheaded and thrown into the ocean. In an act of true self-destruction, a shard of Khraen’s heart stalks the islands destroying the others. His sword calls him home to PalTaq, where it all began. Only there can Khraen find an end to sorrow.

Engaging story
Revisado: 11-22-22
Good final book in the trilogy and the narrator does a good job of keeping the characters voices.

Historia
Of the five contenders for power, one is dead, another in disfavor, and still the wars rage. Joffrey sits on the Iron Throne, the uneasy ruler of the Seven Kingdoms. His most bitter rival, Lord Stannis, stands defeated and disgraced, victim of the sorceress who holds him in her thrall. Young Robb still rules the North from the fortress of Riverrun. Meanwhile, making her way across a blood-drenched continent is the exiled queen, Daenerys, mistress of the only three dragons left in the world.

ASOS!!
Revisado: 06-27-22
What’s not to love about the third book in the ASOIAF series; a Storm of Swords?! Arya surviving in the Riverlands. The red wedding and the election of the 998th lord commander of the Nights Watch.
The worst part is when it ends, you have to go onto a AFFC 😆 lol. #4 is my least favorite.
