Historia
We were prisoners of forbidden love, just like Romeo and Juliet but without the poetic, old English double speak and Italian marble balconies. A coal miner's son, Kellan Braddock always knew he'd follow in his late dad's steel-toed boots. He also always knew that he'd never love anyone as much he loved Rylan Merritt. But sometimes love isn't enough.

Second chance for boy from the wrong side of tracks
Revisado: 06-13-16
Really enjoyed this audio and book. Grabbed my attention from the first and held it. Kellan was from the wrong side of the tracks and worked in the coal mines. Blaney's been in love with him for years. A misunderstanding has her going away to college thinking Kellan isn't interested in her. She meets Chase, gets engaged, is planning her wedding when she goes to his office to surprise him and finds him having sex with his assistant. Blaney goes back home, gets involved with Kellan again. Can their romance survive the second time around?

You can achieve your dream
Revisado: 11-09-14
What made the experience of listening to Tea Can Wait the most enjoyable?
Encourage you to follow your dreams no matter what your age.
What did you like best about this story?
Tells of a widow 60 years old reflecting on how she met her husband, how he fulfilled his dream of being a surgeon. Her job during their marriage and how she had wanted to be a writer. She is given the chance to fulfill her dream in her later years.
What about Marie Hoffman’s performance did you like?
Enjoy her very much. She changes her tone for different people, very expressive at proper times.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I found it very moving when Olivia finds out that her husband had been the doctor taking care of her new bosses wife, working hard to keep her alive. Olivia's husband spoke to the patient's husband about Olivia and her dream to be a writer.
Any additional comments?
I encourage women of all ages to buy either the book or audio, you will not regret it. Jacqueline Coote is a very inspirational writer.
