The title is deceiving...
Revisado: 04-20-20
It is my opinion that The Dyslexic Advantage yammered a lot about wealthy males who are dyslexic and discussed how their unique style of thinking enabled them to excel in their business or jobs, but the Audible never revealed how they were able to get past or work with their dyslexic learning abilities.
The Audible book did explain how children entering school and young adults entering into college could get testing and special educational needs to help them with their dyslexic learning abilities.
Well, I’m a dyslexic female baby boomer and those opportunities were not readily available or were extremely rare (if any) 50 plus years ago. I felt as though there was a lot of confidence building and ego stroking with the raw-raw repetition saying dyslexic people are intelligent and just think differently. I already discovered this information years ago on my own, prior to listening to this Audible. I know I’m not ignorant or stupid, however I’m seeking the answers for dyslexic middle aged and young seniors who are still in the work force and are looking for tips with how to work with or around dyslexia.
If I go back to school now, by the time I graduate college I’ll be ready to retire...
It’s a competitive job market out there, so where can elders obtain fast track dyslexic information, not yammering?Time is not on the aging dyslexic adults’ side. Any suggestions? That’s what I’m truly seeking.

Historia
Different people with different personalities express love in different ways. In fact, there are five very specific languages of love: Words of affirmation, gifts, acts of service, quality time, and physical touch. Dr. Gary Chapman’s original best seller was first crafted with married couples in mind, but the love languages have proven themselves to be universal. The message of this audiobook is now tailored to meet the unique and real desires of single adults.

Learn the “5 Love Languages” to better understand your own personal love tank needs and others... The world would be a better place, if we all learned how to apply and incorporate these concepts appropriately to ourselves and others.
Thank you Mr. Chapman for sharing your “5 Love Languages” philosophy with amazing grace. You are a wise man and a modern day disciple. 😇🙏

Historia
Dyslexia has been described as a difficulty in processing information which may be linked to deficiencies in short-term memory and visual coordination. It is an inherent weakness in short-term memory that is either auditory or visual, which can make it extremely difficult for that person to learn and understand the relation between symbols and spoken sounds. This difficulty allows the person to be unable to correctly speak the correct flow of auditory sounds needed to make a word or sentence sound proper.

An Interesting audible. I’ve heard a lot of these tips through the years, but never associated them with dyslexia. I now have a conscious awareness of them and I’m grateful that the author shed some light regarding the subject. Bravo... this is a concise, got to the point overview which helped me immensely and has instilled a higher confidence in my individual thinking. I have always known intuitively that I think and operate differently than others in my personal and professional life.

A well researched and written book filled with lots of interesting facts, which kept me captivated. I concur with your findings. I LOVE my bean juice!! However, I only drink one cup in the morning so that it does not affect my circadian rhythm and REM sleep.
Here’s to a job well done... Cheers!!🥤

Audible’s Announcement
Revisado: 02-15-20
This is the first meditational series that I have listen to and experienced that Audible has made an introduction and trailer for each session. I understand Audible’s intention to make the introduction at the beginning of each meditational, but Audible’s loud blasting trailer at the end of each session is extremely obnoxious and is a real turn off for the listener’s state of mind after having listened to and participated in a meditation. Audible’s end trailer literally quashes the listener’s mood! If Audible did a consensus regarding this opinion they would discover and find that thousands of others who actively practice meditation would agree with me.
Overall Caesar does a good job leading and Instructing the breathing meditational series. Thank you Caesar!
