Perhaps it is a touch unusual to have a girlfriend and boyfriend both living in the same body, but Kokoro doesn't classify her relationship with Fiona and Martin as strange. Kokoro rides the third rail, a dutifully submissive lover to both aspects of her genderqueer partner's psyche. She goes home with Fiona at night and she leaves the house with Martin the next morning. In between, Kokoro discovers the dynamics of domination and submission aren't necessarily rooted in black leather.

First, the narrator is trying too hard to sound sexy, but it’s just irritating. She’s talking slowly all the time. Plus, each character’s voice and inner monologue sounds exactly the same. You get lost and have to figure out which character said which lines.
Worse than the narrator, the story line. It makes no sense right from the beginning. Maybe if you suffer through , you can figure it out. I’m not willing to spend time, effort or torture myself to listen any further than the first 15 minuets.
I’ll go find a book that can catch me hook, line, and sinker right from the start. I warn you to do the same.

Not only is this more like a magazine article (and a shameless plug for you to join the authors followers), it lacks substance and feels reads as though written by a poser.
If she truly is a femdomme, she needs to be trained and my heart breaks for her slaves. She doesn't understand or practice the basic foundations of a BDSM relationship.
Worse than the written words, is the horrible narrator. She obviously doesn't have a dominant bone in her body. She has a pleasant voice, but not the tone or timing to narrate a book within this genre.

As a Madame myself, I'm appalled this book is hiding behind the misleading description of teaching you how to have a happy, harmonious, and fulfilling relationship, within a female dominated male dynamic. This book is nothing of the sort.
I'm not saying she doesn't have a few good tips or isn't a professional within the D/s community. Rather, I'm stating she isn't being upfront about the truth of the storyline in her writing.
This book is made for the woman who wants to not only dominate men, but one who wants to completely humiliate, control and use men more like a dog. She refers to men as dogs, stupid, unless, and obsolete. Her only use for men appears to be for her selfish and prideful whims.
She goes on to say men are too stupid to express their feelings, inferior to women, aren't needed in the future at all including procreation), only have three thoughts at all times (masterbaiting , eating , and defecating), but nothing more.
This is not how to have a happy, loving, trusting, and genuine marriage/relationship with your husband/partner. I've had an amazing D/s for the last 12 years with my submissive husband. Our relationship thrives and makes both of us happier than at any other point in our lives. We reached this with mutual love, trust, respect, and communication. These are the keys to having a successful female dominated relationship, along with training (for both the domme & sub), patience, and learning each other's needs, wants, and desires.
Only give up your hard earned money if you want to justify your disgust and hatred of the male species or learn new ways to make them feel insignificant and belittled. This isn't even a good BDSM 101 book. It may be about time for me to finally write the much needed relationship books in this area that will actually help you take control of your relationship, self confidence, and have a harmonious marriage.
