Historia
Despite the tumor-shrinking medical miracle that has bought her a few years, Hazel has never been anything but terminal, her final chapter inscribed upon diagnosis. But when a gorgeous plot twist named Augustus Waters suddenly appears at Cancer Kid Support Group, Hazel’s story is about to be completely rewritten. The Fault in Our Stars is insightful, bold, irreverent, and raw. It brilliantly explores the funny, thrilling, and tragic business of being alive and in love.

What made the experience of listening to The Fault in Our Stars the most enjoyable?
The Narration was brilliant!! Kate Rudd - you are a star!!I also found the literary and philosophical themes really stimulating and refreshing for a YA novel. John Green is something else!
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Fault in Our Stars?
The night of the broken trophies!
What does Kate Rudd bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Kate Rudd brings Hazel Grace to the story! She brings all her feelings and all her pain, her heartache, her love, her fear, her courage, her sense of humour and her quirkiness.
Kate Rudd you rock!
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
"You will laugh, you will cry, you will be changed forever" Cheesy but true!

Hardships and heartache brought them together...now it could tear them apart. Layken and Will have proved their love can get them through anything; until someone from Will's past emerges, leaving Layken questioning the very foundation on which their relationship was built. Will is forced to face the ultimate challenge: how to prove his love for a girl who refuses to stop "carving pumpkins". "Sometimes two people have to fall apart, to realize just how much they need to fall back together."

Terrible Narration!
Revisado: 02-04-13
What did you like best about Point of Retreat, Volume 2? What did you like least?
The concept of the vase of stars - beautiful! The portrayal of the true love between Will and Layken is spot on. Kirsten is a great addition to the 'family' and "Suck and Sweet time" is a sweet idea too! However, in 'Point of Retreat', as in 'Slammed' the constant references to the Avett Brothers made the story feel very un-original like the author was borrowing themes all the time. I myself am an Avett Brothers fan, but surely there are other influences on this author.I also felt the "butterflying" thing was wayyyyy overdone! You can go too far with a joke.
Would you ever listen to anything by Colleen Hoover again?
Possibly. Only to resolve the continuing story of Will and Layken. And if Colleen Hoover stopped referencing other artists all the time.
Would you be willing to try another one of Kamran R. Khan’s performances?
NO!! NEVER!! This was the worst narration I have ever heard. I found it very difficult to listen and at several points, considered giving up. He mumbles, has no change in pitch at all, he mispronounces words (including the names of characters!) and the performance is totally devoid of emotion.
Did Point of Retreat, Volume 2 inspire you to do anything?

Historia
Anax thinks she knows her history. She'd better. She's sat facing three Examiners and her gruelling four-hour examination has just begun. After the Great War in 2077, her island Republic emerged from a ruined world. Its citizens were safe - but never free. They lived in complete isolation from the outside. Until one man rescued a girl from the sea, and shook the very foundations on which the Republic was built. It was a time where ancient philosophical questions had collided dramatically with the march of technology.

OUTSTANDING!!
Revisado: 08-22-12
What made the experience of listening to Genesis the most enjoyable?
The narration was, in my opinion, spot on! a wonderful performance! Very clever use of science fiction to explore sophsticated philosophical concepts. Had me smiling as every new twist was cleverly revealed. Really enjoyable.
What other book might you compare Genesis to and why?
I loved this as much as Brave New World and the philosophical themes, in a way, hark back to Huxley or Orwell (although I hesitate to put many Authors in that league).
Although, it could just as similarly be likeded to Planet of the Apes!
In any case Beckett has really intruiged me with his notion of what life really is, or isn't.
