Terrific fun!
Revisado: 09-02-15
Where does Off to Be the Wizard rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I'd put this very close to the top because of the performance by the reader and the plain old fun of the story.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked the pure fantasy fun. This is not serious fantasy or science fiction. The numerous geek references were always fun but never forced.
What does Luke Daniels bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The voice characterizations were terrific and his sense of timing was great.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, I would like to, but on the other hand it made me look forward my commute for several days and that is a true testament.

Historia
Churches outnumber bars 20 to 1 in Greenville, South Carolina, so that's where new-in-town stock broker Jay Jarvis sets out to meet women. New in town, young and successful, Jay figures the best way to meet girls is to sit in a pew! What he finds is a beautiful, unusual missionary with a wild throwing arm and a warped sense of humor. She and her wacky assortment of friends turn Jay's perceptions of life upside down, beginning a roller-coaster ride of events.

Well written novel from a Christian worldview

What made the experience of listening to Flabbergasted the most enjoyable?
I loved listening to a story about modern relationships based on character rather than sex.
