well I picked this series because its long and I listen at work, but for me the character building is so slow, this book is almost done for me and his strength is basically still the same. I don't know if im gonna continue with this series.

I like the characters, but a decent enough story, its just so annoying when authors don't remember what they write in the first book and then change things in the second book, like all thru this book it talks about she can't shift alone, or it takes forever, but in book one she shifted by her self as fast as an alpha could while fighting a demon...just parts that don't go together suck when trying to get into a series.

this books and certain things that happen also happen from a different point of view, from the lady of crows book, ( the book before this one in the series) anyway it makes no sense it could not have happened like that so one of the books is obviously lying, and I'm also so mad he sacrificed his dog im probably done with the series.

ok so the MFC drove me nuts, she was just dumb, like really dumb. She never asked the relevant questions for the situation, stuff would happen and she still just wouldn't believe the ppl would do it. and would want to return, she literally did the opposite of anybody else in every situation. and the story line was ok but stuff you thought would happen didn't, like her turning 18 and having an awakening..or being able to do anything cool to were it would justify the all the fuss over her. she is literally to busy in the story trying to figure out ppl species to pay attention to anything or anybody, very frustrating. but ill check out the next part, if their is one, I personally can't find anything about a book 2 even tho this ended on a cliffhanger...so yeah...that too.

the first book was everything!!! this book i had to stop listening, I can't stand Isolde. she is focused on her parents lands while the land she is queen of most definitely needs her focus. she talks about loyalty but I haven't seen her give any. not even to Adrian who she supposedly loved forever. I just can't with her anymore,hell I wanna kill her, I think Adrian would be better off without her, its definitely time he says enough is enough and moves on. shes so selfish and all about herself its literally hard to listen to. I was so disappointed.

it was alot of self monologue and Sara's thought basically saying the same things over and over for 14 hours, I thought something of note would at least happen like her ascension, then maybe take care of the war in book 3, idk i just didn't expect nothing to happen to her. I would wait for the series to be done if you want to experience anything other then aggravation at the ending. heck I can't even find anything on anything about a book 3. I'm really mad I wasted 14 hours of my life to this right now.

this is a 15 hour book, im 5 hours in..and I just can't anymore. she is just such a bitch to him I can't listen anymore.
I loved their story in the last book, I loved them as a team. it made for a great book, I get being mad, I guess, but damn get over it already, 5 hours of mental abuse from her is alot...and I don't see an end in sight at this point, so I'm not reading any further. such a disappointment.
