Historia
As a clinical psychologist, Dr. Nicole LePera often found herself frustrated by the limitations of traditional psychotherapy. Wanting more for her patients—and for herself—she began a journey to develop a united philosophy of mental, physical and spiritual wellness that equips people with the interdisciplinary tools necessary to heal themselves. After experiencing the life-changing results herself, she began to share what she'd learned with others—and soon "The Holistic Psychologist" was born. Now, Dr. LePera is ready to share her much-requested protocol with the world.

A book written in cliches
Revisado: 06-18-23
It was challenging to listen to her talking about herself so much. While some may find her relatable, for those who don't, it becomes a painful experience. This book is filled with banalities.
For those curious about her preoccupation with racism, it appears that she has faced numerous accusations of perpetuating anti-black harm, and this excessive mention of racism seems to be her attempt to "fix" her reputation.

Historia
Our brains do their best to help us out, but every so often they can be real assholes - having meltdowns, getting addicted to things, or shutting down completely at the worst possible moments. Your brain knows it's not good to do these things, but it can't help it sometimes - especially if it's obsessing about trauma it can't overcome. That's where this life-changing book comes in. With humor, patience, science, and lots of good-ole swearing, Dr. Faith explains what's going on in your skull, and talks you through the process of retraining your brain to respond appropriately....

Untuck this recording quality

To whom is she trying to be relatable?
Revisado: 04-13-23
Is she attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the most unnecessary swear words in one place? This excessive profanity is very distracting and detracts from the actual information she's trying to convey.

Captivating historical fiction
Revisado: 04-12-23
If only our history lessons could have been presented in such a captivating format, we all would have done much better in school. However, this is a work of fiction meant for entertainment, and entertain it did. It depicts the lives of three princesses, each of whom found themselves bound to Mongol warriors and connected through writing in the same journal about their experiences during the Mongol invasions. The author's writing was simply outstanding, with descriptions that effortlessly came to life, transporting us to another time and place. The choice of narrator was spot on, and her voice was a perfect fit for the story, greatly enhancing the immersive experience.

Historia
It’s the 1993 L.A. music scene, complete with drugs, parties, alcohol, and women, but 27-year-old Cory Scott is only interested in one thing: the success of his band Suicide King. His best friend died trying to make it happen and Cory will stop at nothing to make their rock star dream a reality. When infamous music legend Alexandra Blake agrees to produce their debut album, all Cory has to do is keep the band together and keep her interested in them long enough to finish the album. Simple enough. Until he meets Alexandra. With one glance at her, everything else becomes secondary.

I just loved it!

I enjoyed this book immensely. Making it in LA is a dream for many, and this book will let you live that dream out vicariously through the main character. So well written, and the narration is flawless.
