I love Tracy Crosswhite!

I love Tracy Crosswhite! After listening to Book 1, I was hooked, and Book 2 did not disappoint. Tracy and Dan are just so likeable and relatable, and the author writes in a way that's easy to digest and keeps you interested. The narrator is one of the best I have heard so far, and she is fantastic in changing her voice for the different characters. I highly recommend this series and will continue listening to titles from this author.

I discovered this as a free title in the Audio Plus catalog and was positively surprised. I have struggled finding titles I truly enjoyed lately, so I decided to try a couple of books from the Plus catalog instead of wasting my credits. I really enjoyed "My Sister's Grave" as the story was interesting enough to keep my wanting to listen, and the characters were well constructed and relatable. The narration was fantastic as well!
I will look for Book 2 as this seems to be a series. Great listen, would recommend!

Creepy folklore done right!

I found this book included in the plus catalog, and decided to give it a shot. My expectations were exceeded tremendously as this was a very enjoyable book. The story is quite creepy (especially if you are a parent yourself!) and you cannot help but feeling for the character of Lauren. The author created an eerie atmosphere early on and let it continue throughout the book. You keep on guessing pretty much until the end. I was pleasantly surprised and will read other titles from this author. The narration was also on point!

„Das letzte Ritual“ war mein erstes Buch von Yrsa Sigurdardottir, und ich wurde sofort ein Fan dieser Autorin. Sie hat eine Art, die Charaktere zum Leben zu erwecken und Sie von Anfang an zu fesseln. Ich genoss die Gruseligkeit und Unsicherheit, die sich durch die Geschichte ziehen. Auch der Sprecher leistete hervorragende Arbeit und machte es sehr angenehm zuzuhören. Ich werde auf jeden Fall weitere Titel dieser Autorin lesen und kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen.

I was recommended this title from an audible associate and thought it was a fun listen! The main character Lily was lovable and relatable - moving as a teenager is one of the hardest things by itself, but moving into a hoarder/haunted house adds to the drama! The author's writing style was quite enjoyable and the story was interesting and engaging from beginning to end - I definitely finished the book quickly! The only reason I took one star off is that I wish it would have been a tad more scary, but to be honest, nothing really scares me anymore these days (I guess I read too much horror when I was young...;)). The narration was amazing, and I loved listening to this narrator. Overall, I would highly recommend this book!
