Historia
On his last combat deployment, Lt. Cmdr. James Reece's entire team was killed in an ambush that also claimed the lives of the aircrew sent in to rescue them. But when those dearest to him are murdered on the day of his homecoming, Reece discovers that this was not an act of war by a foreign enemy but a conspiracy that runs to the highest levels of government. Now, with no family and free from the military's command structure, Reece applies the lessons that he's learned in over a decade of constant warfare toward revenge.

Well written and totally enjoyable
Revisado: 12-12-18
In the realm of the original Vince Flynn Brad Thor and Tom Clancy, Jack Carr gives us a heat read. Balanced suspense, action, emotion and humor, this book is a keeper. Congratulations on one of the best books I have read in several years. This book tugs on your heart strings and wants to be in the fight with the main character and his few supporters. Can’t wait for a sequel.

Not to Mitch Rapp standards
Revisado: 11-07-18
I was somewhat disappointed with this Mitch Rapp adventure. Kyle Mills was able to keep the stories at Vince Flynn’s quality level but this one left me asking for more. The level of detail in the storyline wasn’t as intriguing as earlier offerings and the dialogue wasn’t as witty. While I was disappointed I’m still a fan and look forward to future Mitch Rapp adventures.

Dewey Andreas saves the day!!!
Revisado: 07-29-17
Slow start but the last third of the book was worth the wait. Lots of characters to keep track of and it helps if you have read the earlier adventures of Dewey. Still it's a good read.

Where does Predator rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Good story where you cheer for Hector Cross to kick butt :)
Who was your favorite character and why?
Hector Cross and Zhenia's growing relationship is fun to follow. Catherine's interaction with the main characters, even though kind of limited, is pretty funny.

Page out of today's headlines?
Revisado: 09-29-16
Not to give away the plot... this could have been pulled out of today's current events. Not taking a political side, it was interesting to see how the American people might react in a crisis. Good story!!!!

Not up to the Bourne standard
Revisado: 10-05-12
Is there anything you would change about this book?
Story move slowly and did not have the typical Bourne aggressive storyline. While Bourne is part of the plot line, he is not the primary character. This was a little disappointing.
Would you ever listen to anything by Eric Van Lustbader again?
I would give him another try. His other books (Bourne and other stories) were entertaining.
Did Holter Graham do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
Mr. Graham did fine. His voice inflection allowed you to imagine the different characters.
Could you see Robert Ludlum's (TM) The Bourne Imperative being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?
This book, as written, would not make a strong movie or TV series. However, since Hollywood has already deviated from the Bourne story line, they could take the premise of the story and script it for the screen.
