All the books are great in this series and this is the second time I am listening to them. This book is my favorite. The vulnerability between Wheeler and Naya is so touching and heartbreaking. I had a hard time putting the book down.

Having to listen to each character drone on about each event was so boring and unnecessary. This book could have been done in half the time. I wish I had not wasted a credit!

Tired of her splitting up a story

This could have been one book. No need to stop where it did. Feel like she likes to get more money but cutting her books in half and calling them a series. She seems to do this a lot. Done buying her books!

Has One Plus One turned you off from other books in this genre?

Not sure about the Genre but I won't be wasting my time or money on this author again.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

I couldn't tell when she was changing characters

What character would you cut from One Plus One?

I wouldn't know who to cut, I stopped listening to the book I just couldn't get into it, it was very slow and hard to follow at times. I found that it was so boring that my mind would wonder and I think that was why I was having a hard time following the book.

What disappointed you about Calculated Risk?

I am not sure if this book would have been any better if someone else read it...narrater was awful the story not much better. Not worth the money, so glas I was able to return it! Couldn't even finish the book it was so awful.

Would you ever listen to anything by Elaine Raco Chase again?

Not sure I would even care to.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Sheila Book?

Anyone would have been better than her.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from Calculated Risk?

Whole story too unbelieveable.

If you like Janet Evonavich you will love Darynda Jones...they have much the same humor. This book is a great listen, once again Lorelei King does a fantastic job with each character! This book will not disappoint! Can't wait until the next book.

Disappointing! Never ending!

OMG! I didn't think this book would ever get over. Author would go on tangents that weren't necessary to the story. Terrible ending and a bit predictable. Why leave the ending hanging, after listening what seemed like days and days to get to the finish you don't even give us closure... Sorry I wasted my money on this one!
