How the world's leading innovators push their ideas to fruition, time and time again. Edison famously said that genius is 1 percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration. Ideas for new businesses, solutions to the world's problems, and artistic breakthroughs are common, but great execution is rare. According to Scott Belsky, the capacity to make ideas happen can be strengthened by anyone willing to build their organizational habits and harness the forces of community.

The ultimate blueprint for all creative people
Revisado: 08-05-11
This book is a must read for anyone that has good ideas and struggles to take action to make them happen. The book is very well researched I cannot emphasize this enough. It gives you plenty of insight into the lives of creative leaders who can follow through and how they motivate themselves to make their ideas a reality.
You are guaranteed to understand in plain terms why so far you have been unable to execute your ideas and what to do about it in more ways than one. The author gives you the ultimate blueprint you need to focus, stay motivated and realize your ideas. I have to agree that the narration is a bit monotonous but don't let that hinder you from getting this book, the content is brilliant!

Nothing about driving growth or passion here!
Revisado: 08-20-10
This is the most disappointing book I have come across audible so far. The book is supposed to be about passion and driving growth in today's internet driven world, instead the author gives you advice on things that really should be norms in business today. If you are a shady type of person that lacks business ethics and values money over your customers then this is for you. As for passion, if the author would start with a more passionate voice maybe I would have at least finished the book, but the dry monotone reminded me of my grade 8 physics master who used to lull the whole class to sleep. I had to turn it off. There is nothing about driving growth or passion here, instead its a pitch about how good Schwab is and how ethical they are, which takes me back to the first point I made, if you lack ethics in the way you do business and want to change that then this book is for you.

If you use facebook then this book is a must get!
Revisado: 08-08-10
This is THE BEST audio book I have listened to so far. David Kirkpatrick does such a brilliant and awesome job in uncovering the facebook phenomenon and how it is changing our lives and the world we live in today, and he narrates the book so well that the 15 hours and 42 minutes go by so quickly you would wish it didn't end, which makes me sad.
I will definitely listen to this book again and again. If I could give it a 10 star rating I would.
The only thing left for me to say is THANK YOU & WELL DONE DAVID for such a rare gem.

The best analysis of the human brain!
Revisado: 07-16-10
The information in this book is top notch. The authors give you an insight into how brain science developed and how it works. Not only that as the title states it goes deep into how winners brains differ. The section on focus helped me a great deal. Understanding that one piece of information on how best the brain can be focused has done wonders.
I have to agree with what other reviewers said the book could have been better read by someone else, however the information deserves a six star rating.
