My absolute favorite!

This is my favorite book in the entire series (and possibly of all time.) There is the perfect amount of romance, humor & action, and the characters are all so lovable! Celine is such a star, and it makes sense why she’s popular enough to basically be mentioned in every book going forward, she truly is a gem. Cassian is the perfect right hand man, and I judge books not only on the swoon-worthy princes, but also on how well their wingman is written. The only thing that could make this book better was if it was longer!!

I like the unique way Melanie frames Mages and their power in this story! The romance is clean and is more enemies to lovers, I really enjoyed it. Lots of action, and very few boring spots which makes this series really enjoyable to listen to!

Great stories and great reader!

I love this series! Having it in a box set made it a lot easier to grab with credits too. Esther Wane does an AMAZING job with the performance of these books, and is very pleasant to listen to. The stories written my Melanie are so fun. She weaves them in a way that even though you’re listening to a well-known fairytale, you still don’t know what’s coming next. They are fun and light hearted to listen to, and super clean!
