Revisado: 04-23-25
I absolutely loved the Elvin Alliance series and I am thrilled to report that book one of the War of the Alliance Series was everything I have come to expect from Tara Grayce.
Fieran’s and Pip’s story is delightful as well as all of the many side characters. Thrilling adventure, a well-built world and great characters.
The narration was also spot on.
Definitely five stars !

Unforgettable
Revisado: 03-04-25
Gosh! I am so very sad to have this book and this series end. I honestly have loved every single book written by Becky Wade but right now I feel that this might be my favorite. (Of course it’s possible that I feel that way at the end of every one of her books!)
But, oh how I love Max and Sloane! I love their history, I love their story, I love their individual strength of character, and I love their romance… Past, present, and future!
This was a beautiful story on so many levels. It was a lovely culmination of the series, but it also had unique aspects in the weaving of this particular story. I loved Ivy and her part in their story, and I absolutely loved the lessons of grace and forgiveness woven throughout.
I partially read this on my Kindle and partially listened to the audiobook, which was also extremely well narrated. Overall, this is a high five star review.

Historia
Owen Larrabee is not my soulmate. He wasn't when I confessed my love to him on his wedding day, and he isn't now. I should probably say that I wasn't the bride when that happened. I don't have the best timing. He's got a temper, he's moody, and he has a history of being misunderstood and making big mistakes. I, on the other hand, make pumpkin cupcakes, spend my Friday nights curled up with a beloved romance novel, and long to be kissed in the rain. Owen is my best friend's older, off-limits brother and the only boy I ever thought I loved.

Delightful
Revisado: 03-01-25
Wow! This book and these characters totally captured my heart. It’s really funny that in the very beginning I wasn’t sure that I liked Emmy because her romantic notion seemed a bit over-the-top and silly. But I was very quickly drawn into the beauty of the relationship between her and Owen…And loved every bit of it.
I very highly recommend this book as well as the audiobook narration, which was incredible!

I love this series! Pip and Greyson and all the rest of the pack are incredible. I feel like I know every individual character and I am definitely invested. I can’t wait to read on in the next book, Fated, but on the other hand, I really don’t want the series to end.

Blatantly relentless and twice as deadly, Greyson rules the pack and expands its territory, even though it’s already the largest in the region. I just wish he’d stop interfering with my life. He’s got enough trouble of his own with his incomplete mate bond, but he’s made it his hobby to tease and test me at every opportunity.

Revisado: 12-27-24
Wow! I have loved this entire world so much, but now that I have just finished the first book of the Pack of Dawn and Destiny Series, I am totally hooked again. I wish I could read around the clock, to be honest. I love all of these characters and felt immediately connected. KM Shea is amazing in how she writes such believable characters — it’s like they’re already living inside her head!
I just love Pip and Greyson and can’t wait to hear more of their story and for the bond to solidify!
I read it on my kindle and interspersed listening on Audible. I highly recommend both. This will definitely be shared with my daughters!

Stella Hobhouse is a brilliant rider, stalwart friend, skilled sketch artist—and completely overlooked. Her outmodish gray hair makes her invisible to London society. Combined with her brother’s pious restrictions and her dwindling inheritance, Stella is on the verge of a lifetime marooned in Derbyshire as a spinster. Unless she does something drastic…like posing for a daring new style of portrait by the only man who’s ever really seen her.

Delightful and heartwarming
Revisado: 12-07-24
The story of Teddy and Stella seemed to be a long time coming, but it was well worth the wait! I loved that Teddy saw Stella’s beauty from the first time he set eyes on her and that Stella was drawn to Teddy without ever seeming to hesitate at his disability/limitations. Their attraction was dynamic.
They are young, but seem to have a level of maturity that has come perhaps from the limitations that were set on each of them. Teddy and Stella long for freedom and are rankling at their own personal “prisons.” In choosing a marriage of convenience they are actually choosing freedom.
However, I love that this is not truly a typical marriage of convenience since both of their hearts are already engaged. It is heartwarming also to see that Stella is able and willing to push past Teddy‘s insecurities and walls, creating more than a physical bond between them.
This was a delightful story and the day after I finished reading it, I am still thinking about it. As always, the characters are so well drawn that I feel like I know them and I’m still wondering about them. I love that they have each other.
The one thing I will say, and this is obviously a personal preference, is that I felt there was an intentional lack of spiritual acknowledgment in them as individuals and as a couple. In other words, the various links and situations that brought them together seemed to me to be God ordained and yet this was never acknowledged, and, in fact, had me feeling that this was a missing element in their relationship. I don’t expect this story to be religious in any way, as that’s not its purpose, but I felt the lack of it in this particular story and in their relationship — since we are eternal beings, and somehow Stella and Teddy spoke to that in me.
I highly recommend this book and since I was able to listen to some of it on Audible, I can highly recommend the narration as well.

My stress levels skyrocketed after I discovered the deadly vampire who has taken over downtown is Considine Maledictus, one of the most powerful vampires alive. Now I’m even more reluctant to tangle with him, but he’s started showing up in the middle of my investigations, even if they’re outside his territory. I never know if he’s there to fight or to lend me some unexpected help. I don’t have time to ponder his weird behavior, because a group of local wizards are up to some shady practices.

Delightful!
Revisado: 11-24-24
Another incredible book by KM Shea! This second book was a great addition to the Magic on Main Street series. The character development, as always, is spot on. It was like making a whole new group of friends… Or enemies as the case may be.
Connor/Considine is delightful – particularly as we see him bewildered by his own growing attachment to Jade. Jade, confused by her own emotions and inept at dealing with social niceties, is incredibly sweet in her innocent growing friendship and reliance on “Connor.”
This is a fun story of the adventures of a diverse group of supernaturals, as well as the slowly growing romance of a most unexpected and unpredictable couple. I can’t wait to begin book 3, the final one of the series, even though I know I will be sad when this one ends.
The Audible version is also delightfully done.

By night, they fight in a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse. By day, they are friendly next-door neighbors. Neither of them know that their alter egos are archenemies. I’ve spent my life training in the family business of slaying vampires, but I’m tired of all the death. I want to prove we slayers can help society, not just break it. I start my new life by joining the Magiford supernatural task force, which exists to protect humans and supernaturals from harmful magic.

Revisado: 11-22-24
This book, and audiobook, is just incredible! I couldn’t wait to message my sister and my daughters to let them know about this amazing, freaking good start to another series by KM Shea. Her writing is incredible, containing so much true feeling and delightful humor with the constant pull of a slow burn romance in the background.
I love that friendships and family relationships are also always a huge part of her books.
Connor/Considine and Jade are both delightful, unusual, quirky, and full-blown relatable, delightful characters.
I honestly cannot recommend this book enough. Absolutely no break for me as I am continuing on immediately to the next book of the series on both Kindle unlimited and Audible.

Drew Me In!
Revisado: 10-05-24
Thoroughly enjoyable. I was expecting to like Leila since she was introduced at the end of the previous series. She didn’t disappoint. Being half fae and half human, she is somehow, much to her chagrin, chosen to be queen of the Night Court. Having grown up in the human world with her mom and stepfather, she has never even known her biological Fae father.
From the beginning, it’s obvious that she is not easily going to be accepted. This is something she determines to overcome, but, in doing so, she does reveal a bit of a snarky side to her personality. Along with a number of unexpected and undesirable responsibilities she now has, one of them is to choose a husband. It seems obvious throughout most of the story who her choice will be. But ultimately her choice is someone no one would have expected (although I had been wondering)!
Much of this book is a set up to understand the fae world and the Night Court, as well as the characters. I am very much looking forward to the next book, Crown of Moonlight.
I listened to much of this book through Audible while also reading on my Kindle, and I must say the narration was very well done.
