Revisado: 05-01-25
Excellent book explaining mental health aspects that are not usually considered when someone is being treated for a condition. The book discusses chronic pain and the brain, scientific research, role of neurotransmitters, and many other intriguing neuroscientific topics and worth listening to/reading.

Revisado: 04-22-25
Maybe the first chapter should be in the intro. It was triggering and I had to skip it but the book is very good and I am glad I listened to it. My takeaways were: following intuition, realizing your life's purpose, finding love for everyone, releasing self judgement, releasing past abuse etc.

Excellent book
Revisado: 04-16-25
This book is about how we are enough and may have labeled ourselves in our lives as not enough, not good enough etc at some point whether it was consciously or subconsciously and then it leads us to always seek something else, an achievement, buying the next biggest thing and feeling we have to be, do or have something else to feel better to enough. She talks about ways around this and other similar self help topics and has exercises or checklists of what to have learned from each chapter.

A great read to help find lost parts of your self
Revisado: 04-07-25
I really related to the author finding lost parts of herself and getting back in touch with them. Every person has their own unique story and something important they can share. The author expresses her own experiences and her clients' experiences. This book helps you ask questions to see if a current experience or trigger is related to a past event or experience that is unknowingly defining your inner world or making you set limits on yourself based on unconscious beliefs/stories we tell ourselves.

I want to thank the author and hopes she writes more books and she should charge for them. I will gladly buy them and gift them to my friends. I read both of her books and love them and one of the books was included in my membership. I would love to hear more from the author and I am grateful to her for sharing her stories and writing these books!

interesting and good but
Revisado: 02-17-25
Writing, especially for the general public as the audience would be better understood if it uses vocabulary that is written to be easily understood rather than to sound smart. Also the author kept saying "well-trod" path but "well-trodden" path is the correct form. These observations along with the narration took away from my experience. I respect that she turned her life around and reduced her anxiety and shared her tips and story to help others and I am grateful for the read and enjoyed it mostly 4/5 but give it 3 stars because of the unnecessary vocabulary, mistakes, and narration.

Historia
Every day, we’re bombarded with pressure to be positive. From “good vibes only” and “life is good” memes, to endless advice, to “look on the bright side,” we’re constantly told that the key to happiness is silencing negativity wherever it crops up, in ourselves and in others. Even when faced with illness, loss, breakups, and other challenges, there’s little space for talking about our real feelings—and processing them so that we can feel better and move forward.

I wish everyone read this to learn what to say when someone dies etc and the book is very validating
Revisado: 02-11-25
This is so helpful to learn what to say when your friend lost their job or has grief about losing a loved one. The book also made me feel validated when most of the time in my life, my feelings are dismissed by my friends, family, and partner. People don't know what to say when their friend has an illness and there's a lot of toxic positivity out there like "turn a positive into a negative" etc and while that may be good, it shames people when they're going through hard times and have strong, negative emotions. This book will help you feel validated, understand what toxic positivity is and examples, and help you avoid using toxic positivity towards others and learn more healthy responses to use instead.

Very encouraging, great read and narration
Revisado: 02-08-25
This book helps with accepting yourself for who you are, goal setting and thinking of your why, helps empower women and people with skin/weight difficulties, love yourself and want to spread love to others. It is full of good messages of inspiration and cheers you on to believing in yourself. Jamie encourages us to be the real you and follow your true dreams and not let "candle-blower outters" put you down or steer you away from your ideas.

Historia
A few weeks after the failure of her business in London, Sarah was asked a question in a book she was reading. “What does money want to say to you?” She started writing a response and found words coming out of her pen that weren’t her own. They started with, “I would like to tell you to love me.” She was deeply touched, and intrigued to explore more about the source of this message. She went on to write in the same way every day for three months and ended up with a collection of surprising, funny and inspiring advice, apparently from the energy of money itself.
