Historia
War has come to Faery, and there’s no escaping the final battle. We thought we were ready for anything. We were wrong. I couldn’t change who I was, so Destiny stepped in, forcing me to become what Faery needed to face down our enemies. Can I forgive what happened and move past the lies and betrayals? Or will I destroy a world to bring the man I love to his knees, requiring us to become the monsters the world wants us to be?

At the moment I’m p$ssed
Revisado: 12-26-23
Rape and unwanted graphic touching and no triggers about this given. I paid for a book that I have to skip chapters bc it was triggering. I’m not sure I can even finish at this point. I’m sick to my stomach.

Historia
Pine River was supposed to be a new start for me. And it was, especially attending school with my three overprotective cousins, who were the triplets at the top of the social hierarchy. Except they weren’t alone there, and the first day when I came to school, I saw him. Scout Raiden. Tall. Lean. Tattooed. Mesmerizing. He was a golden god with dark and piercing eyes—looking like he wanted to eat me up. The feeling was mutual, and that was a problem.

Not the best listen….
Revisado: 11-12-23
I love audiobooks! So I listened Pine River. And it was just okay. I wanted to love it but started off strong and kinda fell flat. The last couple of chapters seemed rushed and she wrapped up things quickly. I’m glad i listened to it but it’s not a book I’ll go back to like I do the others by her.

Historia
I’d trained my entire life to take over the hunter guild. When the unthinkable happened, my father was taken, and I was forced to step up. The moment I took control, everything began to unravel around me. The transition should have gone smoothly, and it would have if Kieran Knight hadn’t shown up. He’s an egotistical maniac with a secret agenda and a psychotic need to possess and control me. There’s one thing Kieran didn’t count on, though. No one owned me. There’s too much at stake to allow myself to be influenced or for him to stand in my way.

Pretty Good! Worth the read
Revisado: 04-11-23
I thought the book was pretty good. The narrator was great! Off to a good start I believe. Will probably read book 2 when it’s released. Only thing I feel is there seems to be so many “ book one’s” with this Author. It’s starting to feel like a Netflix series to where it takes forever for the next part to be released. I understand life and loss has happened and we all try to be understanding with that. But as a reader/ listener I tend to loose interest or forget after awhile.
