Historia
When Murderbot discovers a dead body on Preservation Station, it knows it is going to have to assist station security to determine who the body is (was), how they were killed (that should be relatively straightforward, at least), and why (because apparently that matters to a lot of people - who knew?). Yes, the unthinkable is about to happen: Murderbot must voluntarily speak to humans! Again!

Volume Drops Randomly
Revisado: 05-26-21
A solid installment of the Murderbot Diaries. The two issues I had were that the volume of the recording dropped randomly and often. And that since this is the first of this series that I’ve listened to instead of reading I found the male narrator, who did a great job, to be odd as Murderbot has always seemed to have a female/feminine voice to me.

Historia
It began with a quarrel over which newborn should be the baby Jesus in the town's Christmas pageant. Decades later, two scientists arrive to study small-town genetic patterns, only to run up against the invisible walls that split the leading citizens into two congregations that can only be joined by love and forgiveness - and maybe a little deception, because there might be some things people just don't need to know.

Hallmark?
Revisado: 12-05-18
Orson Scott Card made a Hallmark movie as an audiobook. Fairly predictable and sweet with the characters explaining everything.

An all-new Dresden Files story headlines this urban fantasy short story collection starring the Windy City's favorite wizard. From the Wild West to the bleachers at Wrigley Field, humans, zombies, incubi, and even fey royalty appear, ready to blur the line between friend and foe. In the never-before-published "Zoo Day", Harry treads new ground as a dad, while fan-favorite characters Molly Carpenter, his onetime apprentice, White Council Warden Anastasia Luccio, and even Bigfoot stalk through the pages of more classic tales.

Historia
In the 25th century, humankind has spread throughout the galaxy, monitored by the watchful eye of the U.N. While divisions in race, religion, and class still exist, advances in technology have redefined life itself. Now, assuming one can afford the expensive procedure, a person's consciousness can be stored in a cortical stack at the base of the brain and easily downloaded into a new body (or "sleeve") making death nothing more than a minor blip on a screen.

New Recording Would be Good
Revisado: 03-08-18
Solid narration but as my title suggests the recording is a bit old and it shows in the playing. The chapter transitions were also rushed. As for the story itself, it was a bit over complicated and that’s what dragged my rating down more than anything else.

This hilarious book has been adapted especially for the audiobook edition so you’ll hear all of the same fun and humor from the printed version but you don’t have to make any decisions or jump around - just kick back, relax and listen. Plus, it features exclusive bonus audio of young Neil delivering an adorable speech! That’s audio you won’t hear in any version of this book other than the audiobook!

Historia
When an unknown someone shoots him and leaves him to die, Harry Dresden hopes he might be heading to a better place. Unfortunately being dead doesn't make Harry's life any easier. Trapped between life and death, he learns that his friends are in serious trouble. Only by finding his murderer can he save his friends and move on - a feat that would be a lot easier if he had a body and access to his powers. Worse still are the malevolent shadows that roam Chicago, controlled by a dark entity that wants Harry to suffer even in death.

Dresden as it ought to be
Revisado: 07-17-15
This is my second time listening to this book. First time was tough since it was originally read by a different narrator, James Marster's having narrated all other Dresden books both before and after. It's nice to hear it read as it ought to be. In my estimation James Marster's is Harry Dresden and it was awesome of Audible to provide the corrected version free to fans that already purchased the narratively lacking version.

Historia
The ancient Druid Atticus O’Sullivan gets more than greasy corn dogs and flat soda when he visits a carnival in Kansas to which his apprentice, Granuaile, drags him. He runs across a barker with a strange power over the crowd: attractive women leave their men and disappear into an unmarked tent, never to be seen again, and the men wander away, forgetting that they ever had girlfriends or wives. When Granuaile falls under the barker’s influence and enters the tent, Atticus isn’t about to forget it and move on.

Poor narration
Revisado: 06-16-15
Great short story for fans of Hearne's other Iron Druid stories. The only place this one fell short is with Kirby Heyborne's narration. They should have kept Luke Daniels as the narrator.

Come with us to an Enchanted Place, a forest where Winnie-the-Pooh lived with Piglet, Rabbit, Owl, Eeyore, Kanga, and Little Roo. The stories are about Christopher Robin and these good companions having wonderful times getting in and out of trouble. It is all very exciting and, really, quite thrilling no matter how young or old you may be. It is painful to try and imagine what the world would be like without them.

No Tigger
Revisado: 04-07-15
Good book and narration. However, there are a lot of background nature sounds that are a bit confusing if you listen in the car, as I do. The biggest shock to me, though, was the utter lack of Tigger who seems to be a Disney creation.

Historia
Electronic mechanic Jennings wakes up with no memory of the past two years of his life, except that he had agreed to work for Retherick Construction. Payment for his services, now completed, is a bag of seemingly worthless objects: a code key, a ticket stub, a receipt, a length of wire, half a poker chip, a piece of green cloth, and a bus token. But when he is confronted by the Special Police, who seem to be investigating Retherick for their own reasons, Jennings finds himself running for his life.

Not as good as the movie.
Revisado: 03-09-13
So far everything that I have by Philip K Dick isn't as good as their filmatic counterpart. Nearly all the storied of his that i have read or listened to see like very interesting ideas that needed minor tweaking or fleshing out to be great.
