Revisado: 03-22-22
I’ve seen a lot of reviews for this book and I agree with most people that the book doesn’t live up to the other 8 books but I still enjoyed listening to it and catching up with the characters. But there are two people in this book that I can not stand and it’s the main reason for my low review.
William and Amaranthus. I could not stand either of these characters. They are both immature and selfish on their own and once you put them together is all bad. William is clearly on the rebound from Rachel and Jane and is now after this cousin wife. I don’t care that Ben left and all that. Amaranthus new and told him to leave even though she knew she would be alone. She then began this long con of Hal and John grey and this long sob story and we see she lied in the end but no one cares. She even said to William that she wants to marry him so her and her son can be comfortable in his home in England. Like hello what about your missing husband. I can go on and on about them but I won’t I just don’t like their characters.

Didn’t like Michael at all
Revisado: 12-19-21
Spoilers Alert !!!!!!
I didn’t like Michael at all. He was not mature enough for the relationship he wanted with Callum. Then he didn’t want to see Callum and said he wouldn’t see him if he showed up at his house but then when Callum went all daddy on him and said let’s go all of a sudden he’s days it’s what he’s been waiting for. He put his self and Callum through hell for a damn game of cat and mouse. And him doing the scene with Stefan, umm no that would have been the end because Michael knows if the rolls would have been reversed he would have been pissed and crying and wouldn’t want to s her Callum ever again.

Historia
My story? It’s wrought with violence. Strewn with blood. Dominated by desire. My stepmother, the evil queen, hates me. She wants me dead but hasn’t killed me yet. At her insistence, a never-ending line of repugnant suitors vie for my hand, but when I decline each and every one, the evil queen punishes me...severely. She will stop at nothing until I’m sold or dead.

Really great book. Vampires, fairly tales, and reverse harems, what else could you ask for. But there are a few parts that need to be addressed. (Possible spoilers ahead)
Snow is very frustrating because she always had to wrong emotion and reaction to what was going on around her. When she needed to be regal and mature, she is was scared and childish. And vise versa. She’s also supposed to be this virgin innocent princess, But when sex with 7 strange vampires that she just barely met comes up, she’s all like okay I’m so horny who’s next. The scene where she’s first with Ramsey and gets all envious of him touching people then all of a sudden she’s this sex machine touching on people, sucking on body parts. Then she jumps right into bed bumping uglies like she’s not a Virgin in front of a room full of vampires. Then, she turned into a whiney it’s all about me brat when they told her no or to wait. I feel like the author was trying to go for woman power and queen power with some parts but honestly, in my opinion, snow wasn’t queen like or regal or mature unless it involves fucking one of her men.
Now I love my reverse harems as much as anyone else but I feel the author really fell flat on this one. I really wanted to love Snow but for over half the book, her only queen duties she did was getting punished so her people wouldn’t give up (which made no sense because I doubt the queen would have done anything to town people if snow would have truly ran away), yell about how she’s queen and needs to save her people ( more like a petulant child with a toy than a Royal conducting business) and agree to fuck and submit to 7 strange vampire kings to save her people.
Lastly, I feel like the poor people of the town have two choices. Either evil queen or young and naive queen. And I guess since snow had the 7 vampire kings in her bed and pocket, she was the better choice.

Loved …..
Revisado: 09-06-21
I love Owen and Declan except that it’s feels that Declan is very insecure about his age. Like he knows he likes older men but he’s so focused on being the dominant mature person that sometimes his confidence comes off as cockiness and it’s unattractive. Also he tend to snap on Owen whenever he mentions their ages and tries to punish Owen or do something to exert his dominance over Owen unnecessarily. Lastly, James need to back the hell up and so does the twins. They have no right to rush or belittle Summers feelings. She every right to be upset with James for leaving them as a child. The twins have had a year to get used to James. Summer only found out a few weeks ago. The twins should be lucky their relationship with Summer isn’t completely ruined with how they lied to her and are pushing her.

Couldn’t finish ……
Revisado: 09-04-21
I really wanted to like this story. But I stopped when Ronan told his kinky patients that he was helping as a Dom that he could only continue with them if Jamie was allowed to watch and when the other Dom said that his sub wasn’t comfortable with that, he said well I can’t help you anymore because my focus needs to be on my sub. Now I get that but you have been working with these patients for years and if Jamie issue was the sessions completely then that would be okay, but him saying he has to be able to watch every time because he gets off on it is not right. This is a personal time and was something that was started before Jamie came into the picture and he has no right to demand to be apart of it or shut it down.

Historia
Cole’s not looking for someone to love him. He wants to be used and discarded. That's much easier than getting tangled up in emotions. And there’s no way he will ever let another man take control. He tried that once and nearly lost himself before he got out. Now, he’s focused on running his coffee shop and getting a little action when the urge strikes. Bear moved to Annandale looking for a fresh start. The way things ended with his last boy, he’s shied away from a crucial part of who he is. As the head bouncer at Club 83, he’s used to seeing beautiful men every night. When he meets Cole, he can’t deny the chemistry between them.

Cole…
Revisado: 09-03-21
Cole did not deserve Bear at all. He was so bipolar. Bear worshipped the ground Cole walked on and he refused to believe it. Bear is forced to walk around on Egg shells hoping not to piss off Cole over little insignificant stuff. Then when Bear left to take his sister home, then he’s like oh I miss him and want him back but honestly he just misses what he does to his body. And in the end, he still didn’t trust him. How are you comfortable being in a daddy/boy relationship and calling him daddy but still not trust him.

Good-ish story.... Spoiler Alert !!!
Revisado: 07-29-21
I like the story and characters except Stephan. I disliked his character and everything he put Nick through. The worst part was towards the end when he said he was tired of Nick’s emotional rollercoaster just because he wanted to keep him safe. When Stephen was the one who kept pushing him away time and time again. Everyone kept babying Stephan and not telling him how dumb he sounds saying he doesn’t want or isn’t attracted to his fated mate. And how Cassius told Nick that he was messing up when he broke up with Stephan when once again that was Stephen’s doing and overreaction. He gave Stephan exactly what he asked for and he still got pissed. I’m not sure what the author was trying to do towards the end but it didn’t work.
