Historia
Rick Myers is a despondent 17-year-old who just lost his parents in a car wreck. His family is now the four teenage buddies he's grown up with in a run-down apartment building. Fast with their fists, flip with their mouths, and loyal to a fault, "the crew" is all he has. At least he thinks so until he meets Daisy, an intelligent, independent, self-assured blind girl. Her guts in a world where she's often painfully vulnerable intrigue Rick, and her hopeful outlook inspires him to begin believing in himself.

An amazing story woven with the mind, heart and spirit that will give hope to almost any reader.
Revisado: 06-10-18
The only negative thing I have to say is the recording has a great deal of sound glitches. This book is so healing, realistic and worth the read I think they need to pay the same guy who read it so *he* can be the one who reads it because he does a wonderful job. I am blessed enough by this read to encourage you to give it a listen because you will receive hope, healing and if your heart and mind are open, you will have no regrets. And yes, there is a spiritual Christian thread throughout the book but it isn't your jerky unrealistic Christians, it's for those who have been hopeless for a long, long time. Bet you'll be blessed for giving it a try. Enjoy and be blessed.

Historia
Anna Fox lives alone - a recluse in her New York City home, unable to venture outside. She spends her day drinking wine (maybe too much), watching old movies, recalling happier times...and spying on her neighbors. Then the Russells move into the house across the way: a father, mother, their teenaged son. The perfect family. But when Anna, gazing out her window one night, sees something she shouldn't, her world begins to crumble. And its shocking secrets are laid bare.

The Woman in the Window is an absolute must read!

If you like psychological suspense thrillers as much as I do you’ll love this book. It is very detailed and descriptive which I like because I am visually impaired so it makes the characters and scenes more vivid for me. I hope this author has more books on the way. It’s very realistic but at the same time there are a few details some people might think unrealistic… It still works though. Yes I highly recommend this book for people who love psychological suspense. Enjoy. :-)

Historia
Born to a prominent Chicago judge and his stifled socialite wife, Mia Dennett moves against the grain as a young inner-city art teacher. One night, Mia enters a bar to meet her on-again, off-again boyfriend. But when he doesn't show, she unwisely leaves with an enigmatic stranger. With his smooth moves and modest wit, Colin Thatcher seems at first like a safe one-night stand. But following Colin home will turn out to be the worst mistake of Mia's life.

Some of it was predictable but there were a lot of little nuggets in the book that showed the author has great depth and substance. I’m going to read some more books by her now.

Historia
Journalist Joe Oakes makes a living exposing supernatural hoaxes, but when he visits a secretive religious cult on a remote Scottish island, everything he thought he knew is overturned. While investigating a strange apparition caught briefly on film wandering the lonely beaches of Pig Island, so deformed it can hardly be human, Oakes crosses a border of electrical fencing, toxin-filled oil drums, and pigs' skulls to infiltrate the territory of the group's isolated founder, Malachi Dove.

Is it just me or does our MØ need to step up her game a bit?
Revisado: 10-13-17
The story idea was great but unfortunately kind of unraveled and became a dis-organized bunch of smaller stories for getting the bigger story.
