Historia
Roughly half the world's population speaks languages derived from a shared linguistic source known as Proto-Indo-European. But who were the early speakers of this ancient mother tongue, and how did they manage to spread it around the globe? The Horse, the Wheel, and Language solves a puzzle that has vexed scholars for two centuries and recovers a magnificent and influential civilization from the past.

Interesting, but there is a LOT about pots
Revisado: 05-12-22
I agree with the other reviewer that this has some fascinating elements, but the depths to which the author goes about pots is… intense. Well, not even whole pots, bits of pots. It is also amusing to hear the academic griping about other archeologists and linguists in general.

Historia
Africa is the continent where the first humans were born. They explored the vast land and produced the first tools. And although we migrated from that continent, we never completely abandoned it. From the beginning of time, humans lived and worked in Africa, leaving evidence of their existence in the sands of the Sahara Desert and the valleys of the great rivers such as the Nile and the Niger.

This is terrible
Revisado: 12-27-20
Don’t bother with this. It sounds like someone padded out a Wikipedia article, and very badly. The writing is sloppy and sounds like a first-year university student’s essay. It’s too bad as it’s a fascinating subject, and the narrator has done an admirable job — but the text is just terribly written.
