I enjoyed this book very much. It was filled with lots of lessons on life and cultural experiences. As with many people who walk the path of Martial Arts it is only a vessel in which we share with others that allow us to experience and express ourselves. This story does a great job of using Kung Fu as the backdrop and glue of the story.

Overall it is good. This book explains Shannon Lee's view on her dad's philosophy. It outlines how she feels it helps her and how she uses her dad's philosophy to become the best version of herself. Having read some of her dad's philosophy in the past it was nice to hear how another individual has used it in their life. I am disappointed due to the fact that it lacked that great revolution. Also due to the nature of her relationship with Bruce it relied on hear say and her dad's writing.
