Complex and Intriguing

I enjoyed the characters with a special affinity for Detective Cross and his unique challenges posed by his Asperger’s.
As someone challenged by ADHD, Inattentive Type, I enjoyed reading the Author’s attempts to capture a character and his interactions with “neuro-typicals” that surround him. 😊
Very interesting storyline, some of which was familiar to me as a practicing Catholic Christian.
I look forward to reading more from this Author!

Interesting Story Line Relatable to Small Town Living

I liked the main Character and found it interesting to learn more about her experience as a young person growing up in the town she had now returned to. The revelations about she and her family and their standing in the community, while secondary to the main plot, added an intriguing dimension to the story.
I found the story line believable for small town living and I was still curious, up until the last minute, about who the guilty party was.

Getting The Characters Established…

took a bit of time up front, threatening a full read/listen.
BUT, I am so glad I didn’t let that dissuade me from hanging on!
Very unique story line with a suspenseful wrap up.

Likable Characters and Intriguing Story Line

I really enjoyed the main character and her ‘sidekick’ in this story and I found the storyline unique and fun to try to anticipate.
VERY interesting with it being set during the COVID Lockdown!
I look forward to more of this author’s Titles!

A SOCIOLOGICAL GOLDMINE!

As an amateur Sociologist and Social Psychologist who has spent a lifetime of observing, experiencing and being fascinated by human behavior, this INTRIGUING and ENLIGHTENING story is one that will be added to my “Keepers” Library.
History is one of our best “teachers”and hearing from the mouth of the key player, and others, in this tale REALLY helps to make connections and offer deeper understanding of present day.
I intend to pass this along to as many people as possible, my older grandchildren most especially.
A special “Thank You” to Marc for pursuing this ENTERTAINING and EDUCATIONAL Podcast and to the Creator of ‘Ong’s Hat’ for being willing to share his story (despite his trepidation!). I was spellbound as I listened to him share about where he came from, his attitude as a young man and his journey to where he is today.
AMAZING!

The Ability of Human Cruelty,

one to another, is mind-blowing and unbelievably disappointing in this personal narrative.

As painful as it was to hear the Author narrate this deeply disturbing and terrifying period in her life, it is also a story of GREAT Strength and Perseverance to fight for right.

Having this heart-breaking, yet powerful, story read to us by the Author, in her own voice, brings the Reality and her amazing Character to life.

Her COURAGE in carrying this difficult experience to it’s conclusion, thereby being one of the first cases to affect “Cyber Laws” of the future, deserves our Gratitude for her BRAVERY!

Story Setting and Character Types

I read, for the first time, William Kent Krueger’s first book “Iron Lake” and fell in love with the Backdrop and Characters for his story. So, the decision to read “Boundary Waters” was an easy one.
Interesting and Intriguing, both of these reads have kept me engaged and anxious for more!
I highly recommend this author for those who enjoy the rugged outdoors, the native Indian culture and a good action book with characters that even women can relate to and appreciate.
