Woke ruins everything

I loved this series until… this book. Why make a great story wonky, clunky, distasteful, and awkward by carving out trans narratives? Sanderson and company, get new editors, this is stupid. I’ll never finish the way of kings series, and I won’t recommend it any more either. For once, can we just have a good story without poisoning it with a political agenda???

This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
An unrefined, simple person.
What was most disappointing about Terra Harmony’s story?
The main character was unbearable - highly unlikeable. The story and characters were so predictable, it was painful. The author needs to spend a lot of time refining her craft, as this was very poorly written.
How could the performance have been better?
by not publishing it.
What character would you cut from Akasha?
All of them, starting with the main character first. If I had to be around her, I'd gladly turn to alcohol.
Any additional comments?
Buy a different book - any book, it doesn't matter. It'll be better than this. I've serious buyer's remorse over this one, and I'm embarrassed that its in my library.
