My expectations was too high
Revisado: 04-01-25
I read the first two books a few years ago and was excited.
And then, I read them again last month and felt even better with them, so I immediately bought this third book.
Unfortunately, this book wasn't as good as i hoped for.
I'm not saying it was bad, but I think that as a third book in a trilogy it was not as good as it's should be.

the prefaces are worth everything
Revisado: 01-21-25
I love classic Sci-fi.
And when i discovered Ellison it was like get into wonderland.
This collection is unique, but not only because some of the stories, but also because the preface Ellison wrote to each story.
It's worked like a charm on me - and when I encountered a boring story I tried and tried again, only because the preface is so intriguing.
the narrators are mixed -;some of them are superb, and some unbearable.
I'm continuing straight ahead to the sequel

Winter is coming. Such is the stern motto of House Stark, the northernmost of the fiefdoms that owe allegiance to King Robert Baratheon in far-off King's Landing. There Eddard Stark of Winterfell rules in Robert's name. Far to the north, behind the towering Wall, lie savage Wildings and worse - unnatural things relegated to myth during the centuries-long summer, but proving all too real and all too deadly in the turning of the season. Yet a more immediate threat lurks to the south, where Jon Arryn, the Hand of the King, has died under mysterious circumstances....

Historia
That's the question that has haunted 14-year-old Ezekiel Blast all his life. But he's not a thief, he just has a talent for finding things. Not a superpower - a micropower. Because what good is finding lost bicycles and hair scrunchies, especially when you return them to their owners and everyone thinks you must have stolen them in the first place? If only there were some way to use Ezekiel's micropower for good, to turn a curse into a blessing. His friend Beth thinks there must be, and so does a police detective investigating the disappearance of a little girl.

Historia
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

not on par with The Martian
Revisado: 05-17-24
to be short - pass on this book.
I was so excited listening to The Martian and went on seeing the movie which was a little bit less as good as the book.
Artemis keap on showing on sales, but the reviews are horrible, and yet, i gave credit to the writer, so eventually i bought it.
I won't explain every disappointment on this book, you can find it all in the other reviews, but believe me, if you loved The Martian, don't buy this book.
