I found this book to be very entertaining since I like World War II Adventures. it went from the present back into the past. there was some French spoken and the narrator did a great job on that.

Yes, I am a guy listening to The Color of Heaven Series. My wife read the series and she said I would like it so I began listening.
It is romance thrown in with other aspects of the story so it held my interest based upon the characters. It is good to to have narration which has superb emotion and this book does. It is more for women than men? Sure. Does it work to connect all the books in the series before this one? It sure does. It is enjoyable to see how the early characters still play out in later stories.
Do you want a good read or listen? Get the series and go for it.

My wife read the entire series and recommended that I read the books, too. I prefer audobooks so I started listening. The book was excellent with a great story line. So, you are saying why is a guy reading these books? I like a good story where I can immerse myself and this superb book did just that. It had romance. Nothing wrong with that. I will continue on with the rest of the series since I have the free 30 day trial and move beyond because I will not finish the entire series.
