Historia
I never asked Hemi Te Mana to rescue me. It was true that I had a lousy job. Not to mention a lousy apartment and too much responsibility, although it was a responsibility I wouldn't have given up for the world. That still didn't mean I needed rescuing, if that was what you'd call the situation I ended up in. And anyway, I knew that a multimillionaire Maori CEO with too many muscles, a tribal tattoo, and a take-no-prisoners attitude was way, way out of my league.

Narration was awesome!

Generally I don’t judge a book by the narrator but this book was so much better because of accents were great and there was never any confusion. Great plot as well.

Historia
Their love had the power of a runaway freight train, and the potential to be just as destructive. The tempestuous sequel to Bad Things picks up where the first book left off. Reeling from a profound loss, Tristan and Danika struggle to pick up the pieces and build a life together, but the hard habits of a lifetime are not so easy to escape. Rock Bottom takes us on a dual point of view journey through addiction and desire, through love and agony, and answers the question we've been asking since these characters were introduced in Grounded.

The best of times... the worst of times

I thoroughly enjoyed the first part of this book but the second part was so depressing. There is only so much loss a person can take...we shall see where the final book takes us.

Not the greatest Tijan book...
Revisado: 03-01-19
I enjoyed the first book and decided to give this one a try. The beginning started off strong and then it kind of lost me. The “secret” took too long to come out. I think it only made the book longer and not as appealing. It was a good ending but the middle was just too boring, I found myself skipping parts of the book to finish it.
