Historia
In the tradition of Robin Cook, Michael Crighton, and Samuel Shem, The Long White Coat is a story of medicine’s power, arrogance, and fallibility, based on real and painful clinical experience, told with humor and compassion. One editor, James O’Shea Wade, said, “The Long White Coat may convince the appalled and enthralled listener to never, ever go near a hospital again unless, like all the patients and doctors in this compelling narrative, they have no choice.

A brilliantly written account of “A day in the life of an Emergency trauma team”, presented in a very amusing way.

It was an amazing read and gave insight to the overall 24/7 operations of a large hospital emergency room in raw form. It is obvious that the author is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of trauma medical care.

Disappointed. Not enough suspense.

I thought the storyline was going to be retribution by the Mafia and more of a sequel FIRM.

Historia
In the town of Ada, Oklahoma, Ron Williamson was going to be the next Mickey Mantle. But on his way to the Big Leagues, Ron stumbled, his dreams broken by drinking, drugs, and women. Then, on a winter night in 1982, not far from Ron’s home, a young cocktail waitress named Debra Sue Carter was savagely murdered. The investigation led nowhere. Until, on the flimsiest evidence, it led to Ron Williamson. The washed-up small-town hero was charged, tried, and sentenced to death - in a trial littered with lying witnesses and tainted evidence....

Worst Grisham book I have ever read.

I’m a big fan of John Grisham, and didn’t realize that this was really non-fiction. John needs to stick to fiction. This story was way too much filled with too many characters and too many facts. I stopped after the eighth chapter.
