Ivermectin is a dirty word in the media. The drug has been derided and declared useless. Doctors have earnestly recorded pleas asking those afflicted with COVID-19 not to take the drug. But why? The War on Ivermectin is the personal and professional narrative of Dr. Pierre Kory, the co-founder of an expert group of physicians, and his plight to alert the world of his group's identification of ivermectin as a highly effective, life-saving, widely available generic medicine with an obvious ability to end the global pandemic.

Corruption Is In Charge
Revisado: 06-27-24
Great book. Frightening to learn how those tasked with public health fought so hard to keep a safe, cheap, effective, and non invasive therapy from us during covid.
This book is evidence that the fix was in to force people to get the experimental gene therapy shots by demonizing Ivermectin and other effective and cheap existing non experimental therapies.
Sad and heartbreaking to think of how many lives have been lost and/or ruined because they were not allowed access to Ivermectin.

In 1307, as they struggled to secure their last strongholds in the Kingdom of Jerusalem, the Templars fell afoul of the vindictive and impulsive king of France. On Friday, October 13, hundreds of brothers were arrested en masse, imprisoned, tortured, and disbanded amid accusations of lurid sexual misconduct and heresy. They were tried by the Vatican in secret proceedings. But were they heretics or victims of a ruthlessly repressive state?

Just Couldn’t Get Into It
Revisado: 02-11-24
For some reason I had an extremely hard time getting into this book and following along with the story. I’m an experienced audio book listener and this is the first time I can say I’ve listened to an entire book and can tell you very little about it.
I don’t know if it’s the narrator or the subject matter. The narrator has a pleasant voice and the author clearly researched this subject but it just didn’t resonate.
Surely this is likely more my fault than the author’s, which is why it’s a 3 not lower.

Historia
After his retirement from the Marine Corps in the early 1930s, General Smedley D. Butler embarked on a national lecture tour, where he gave his speech about how commercial interests benefit from war. The speech was well received and he wrote an expanded version of it, which was published as War Is A Racket. The work was published by Reader's Digest as a condensed book supplement, which added to its popularity.

Butler: A Man Ahead of His Time
Revisado: 12-01-23
Short, simple and to the point, General Butler pulls no punches and what he said about 100 years ago still stands today. There certainly is a lot of profit with war, the problem is the politicians and big business keep all of the profits for themselves, while the back break costs are shifted to the soldiers, their families and the rest of the citizenry.

What will planet Earth be like in 20 years? At mid-century? In the year 2100? Prescient and convincing, this book is a must-read for anyone concerned about the future. Never has the world offered more promise for the future and been more fraught with dangers. In this powerful and sometimes terrifying work, Attali analyzes the past and pinpoints nine distinct periods of human history, each with its world center of power and prestige, and predicts what the tenth will bring by the end of this century.

The Dystopian Plan For The Future
Revisado: 11-29-23
The last 40 minutes or so (listening at 1.5x speed) reveals the frightening future the globalists/socialists have in store for us.
Transhumans - like Melinda Gates, he actually mentions her specifically! - will usher in an era of hyper democracy during which all of our needs will be taken care of so that we will not have to worry about the inequities and dangers of the world. Attali actually says that the UN Security Council will merge with the G8 to form this world government in which there will be a central bank, one currency, and everyone will live in massive, well-planned cities.
The term ‘for the common good’ is used so often that i lost track of how many times.
Attali talks about how energy, water and food supply will be scarce and force the powers that be to manage the population. Similar alarmist pap has been promoted since the 1970’s, yet these types are undaunted in their willingness to continue their narrative.
He wrote this in the early 2000’s, and just recently we have seen the subject of water scarcity come up as the next phony emergency that authorities want to use an an excuse to swoop in and take away more of our freedoms.
He also regurgitates all of the now debunked climate change lies dealing with man made climate change and the non issue of CO2 in the atmosphere. The other environmentalist lies of shrinking polar ice caps and coral reefs are also mentioned. Time is the enemy of these propagandists.
Another prediction that hasn’t aged well is the scarcity of petroleum and low chance of finding enough new reserves to keep oil flowing past 2050, a myth that was totally exploded from 2018-2022.
If this isn’t enough, Attali is also a big fan of the ideas of Karl Marx and repeatedly refers to Marx’s true ideas, and how these future transhumans will fix the mistakes made by those who have tried to implement Marx’s failed ideology in the past (and present).
The events of the covid shutdown and how we saw the naked face of authoritarianism, kind of ruined the gentle touch Attali tries to ascribe to the intentions and methods of government to act in ‘the common good.’
This is a terrifying book because people actually want this kind of future for the world. Science fiction authors have written about this kind of dystopia for generations - and most have done a better job - but this book is scary because it presents itself as a plan.

5 For Propaganda/1 As An Expose
Revisado: 08-09-23
This book smells like ‘Operation Mockingbird.’ If you read this book and understand that the Deep State only wants you to know what they want you to know, the book is instructive as propaganda.
Certainly, in light of the actions of the intelligence community over the past 5-6 years, this book is really outdated, and some of the ridiculously quaint notions of what the NSA and other intelligence organizations are up to are laughable. Of particular note is the section dealing with the FISA court and all it represents.
If your expectation is that this book is some kind of expose, you will be disappointed AND/OR be misled into thinking that you’ve actually learned something from the deep, dark recesses of the NSA.
Read about ‘Operation Mockingbird,’ if you are unfamiliar to gain a greater perspective for what this book actually is.

Thought Provoking, Will Change the Way You Look at History
Revisado: 07-17-23
Everything you thought you knew about the timeline of civilization seems to be wrong and needs to be reassessed. The fact that the mainstream, gatekeepers of archaeology either disregard these findings and/or work to shut down dialog on the issues of the Sphinx and the Pyramids at Giza tells you how revolutionary these findings are.
These claims are backed up with at least as much hard evidence as used by the mainstream in the field, and in many cases Hancock and those in his school of thought have better, more updated info upon which to make their case.

Saving the Environment By Killing People & the Environment
Revisado: 06-02-23
An amazing, must read book. Think of the worst possible conditions people could live in in ANY time, not just in the 21st Century, and the slave laborers of the Congo - men, women, & children - have it as bad, if not worse, than any people in history. Everyone is the bad guy here, especially the Big Tech firms who are making 10’s of billions of dollars on the backs of these slaves.
One interesting point, unintentionally made by the author, is that the Congo had a 1% covid vaccination rate, and in a nation of 96 million people, have experienced less than 1500 deaths as of today.

How can we make intelligent decisions about our increasingly technology-driven lives if we don’t understand the difference between the myths of pseudoscience and the testable hypotheses of science? Pulitzer Prize-winning author and distinguished astronomer Carl Sagan argues that scientific thinking is critical not only to the pursuit of truth but to the very well-being of our democratic institutions.

Dated and Naive, But A Must Read
Revisado: 05-25-23
The underpinnings of Sagan’s arguments/positions on science and he puts science in context of history is great, are his observations of how we have become a nation of functional illiterates. In the 90’s he spoke of how we’ve built a society that depends on science and tech, and yet doesn’t understand any of it, and things have only gotten worse.
In the current climate, his ideas are almost quaint in their naïveté as he - rightly - makes the point of how important education is and how American kids have fallen behind. Again, 25+ years ago the problem was starting, today it’s too late. Teaching more, real, science in our schools will never happen, as the teachers and their unions have abandoned us.
It would be great if Sagan could come back and see what’s transpired over the past 15+ years - but especially the last 3+ years - and how those in both government and science have let us down.
Sagan points out what the Founders had in mind for this country, and implores us to take back our government, totally unaware of the reality that the real power of the government was wrested from us 60+ years ago and has been in the hands of the unelected bureaucratic class.
And Sagan’s POV that Trotsky - who had a murderous hand in the revolution - somehow would have been a great leader of the Soviets, and less of a murderous tyrant than Stalin. That was a real head scratcher.
All in all, a good listen.

In 1942, the Gestapo sent out an urgent transmission: "She is the most dangerous of all Allied spies. We must find and destroy her." The target in their sights was Virginia Hall, a Baltimore socialite who talked her way into Special Operations Executive, the spy organization dubbed Winston Churchill's "Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare." She became the first Allied woman deployed behind enemy lines and - despite her prosthetic leg - helped to light the flame of the French Resistance, revolutionizing secret warfare as we know it.

Revisado: 01-24-23
I don’t know why I didn’t love this book, and it was kind of a chore to get through. There was no tension in the stories and while Virginia Hall did amazing things the war and was a true hero, this book is pedantic.
Didn’t love the narrator and I really never got in to the book the way I have with many other great books.
Amazing story and life, average book.

Less freedom. More regulation. Higher costs. Make no mistake: those are the surefire consequences of the modern global warming campaign waged by political and cultural elites, who have long ago abandoned fact-based science for dramatic fearmongering in order to push increased central planning. The Politically Incorrect Guide to Climate Change gives a voice - backed by statistics, real-life stories, and incontrovertible evidence - to the millions of "deplorable" Americans skeptical about the multibillion dollar "climate change" complex, whose claims have time and time again been proven wrong.

Debunks the Narrative With Receipts
Revisado: 09-21-22
Great listen. Reveals the scam that is behind the Green Movement. CO2 isn’t poisoning the atmosphere, as it’s a minuscule percentage of our atmosphere. CO2 counts were historically higher, when humans were not burning fossil fuels. Also, CO2 lags behind the temperature trends and does not lead it.
Moreno does a great job of stating the opposition to these Green positions, and does so with data and facts.
