I want to make up my own mind about politcal issues. This Mexican grapes of wrath only has one purpose. To say that President Trump is - you name any kind of atrocity -and he is guilty of it according to this book. I have deleted and returned for a refund due to offensive content! I don't want this Audible book for credit either. I don't want it showing on my device.

good read, not biased politiclly

This book is very well written and interesting. it is honest about American history. I found it enjoyable. It read like a novel and had no leftism or right-ism(as the left likes to describe anything not conforming to their oligarchy). That's very refreshing in this present political climate, and so added to the enjoyment of this really good book.

a feel good book

This is a wholesome story about how alcoholism can destroy, but families and lives can be rebuilt. A former alcoholic takes two boys on a trip in an RV for a summer when their alcolhic father is in jail for muluple DUI's. If you or someone you love has never had the experience of the kind of connection here, it may be painful to read. I, although a victim of unhealthy parenting, was happy about it. It's about healthy things despite some bad circumstances. it's not about murder, infidelity or war- the popular subjects. I appreciate that.
