There were some humorous points, but all-in-all this book DRAGS. I grew up with lots of Amish and Mennonite so it was interesting to hear this point of view, but I was so often frustrated with the author I couldn't find much entertainment in the story. It's ok, and like the author I rarely leave a book unfinished, but...

This was a very underdeveloped story. I didn't understand why people did what they did when...seems like scenes were added just because someone said 'you need more sex' or make them do something 'crazy'. It was disjointed and weird. If I wasn't just listening I would have stopped reading and I ALWAYS finish books. Take a pass on this snooze.

No one can fathom what this barrier is, where it came from, and when - or if - it will go away.

I loved this story...it was really great and I understand why people are comparing it to the Stand...my all-time favorite book, EVER. It's not quite there, but still very good, with lots of great characters. I do have to agree the narration is awful. The women all sound like hags and sometimes the Maine accent comes out like a bad pirate or something somewhat British. Not great. I would, however, listen just for the story...or if you have the time, read the book. Mr. King...again, I applaud you!

Great, Great, Great, Great Book

What made the experience of listening to Little Princes the most enjoyable?
Wonderful story that may make you cry but will have you chuckling as well.
What does Conor Grennan bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
The voices and accents are wonderful and I would have never been able to pronounce 1/2 the words as well as he did.
