Historia
It was not his fight. But he will still be the one to end it. The galaxy remembers Hadrian Marlowe as a hero who burned every last alien Cielcin from the sky. The man remembers how he tried to save them - to negotiate with them, to learn more of them - and how his attempts were frustrated by his own side and creatures stranger still than any Cielcin he'd encountered thus far. Hadrian Marlowe's path might have ended in fire...but the road to it was winding and leads through intrigue, and battle, to war.

Good story but a poor narrator
Revisado: 10-23-24
The narrator makes every character seem like an old man. The story is very good.

Micheal Kramer👍👍
Revisado: 01-18-21
The narration by Michael Kramer went from good to great along the book. This is my second time through this book and it's really entertaining.
The only negative point were the few chapters narrated by Kate Reading. She keeps the same tone during the whole chapter; seems like an old computer voice or telephone answering machine. Thank the light, she only narrates a few and it wouldn't be fair to the book or to Michael Kramer to lower their score.

Historia
When Dr. Louis Creed takes a new job and moves his family to the idyllic, rural town of Ludlow, Maine, this new beginning seems too good to be true. Yet despite Ludlow's tranquility, there's an undercurrent of danger that lingers...like the graveyard in the woods near the Creeds' home, where generations of children have buried their beloved pets.

Zero stars for Narration
Revisado: 12-15-20
The narrator tried to be solemn, but did an awful and boring work. The book may be fun, but I really had to do a great effort to finish listening to the narration.

Historia
Roland Deschain and his ka-tet are bearing southeast through the forests of Mid-World, the almost timeless landscape that seems to stretch from the wreckage of civility that defined Roland's youth to the crimson chaos that seems the future's only promise. Followers of Stephen King's epic series know Roland well, or as well as this enigmatic hero can be known. They also know the companions who have been drawn to his quest for the Dark Tower: Eddie Dean and his wife, Susannah; Jake Chambers; and Oy.

Weak start, but managed to get back on track.
Revisado: 03-07-19
I love the book, but the narration at the beginning, wasn't good. George Guidall's pronunciation was messy; it seemed like he had a loose dental prosthesis o a swollen tongue. I thought of abandoning this book series. He really made me miss Frank Muller(Roland's voice was amazing). At around 2/3's of the way, he manage to improve his narration and made it well all the way to the end. I hope he continues this way in Song of Susannah.
The book itself presents a great story. Nothin to complain about.
