If you are or ever were a paramedic (or any medical professional) don't get this book. The medical ignorance is just too much. it totally destroys the story.

If you can ignore the socialism and classism the rest of the book is good. It is pretty funny to watch this guy hate the rich while fantasying about being one.

Every new paragraph seems to start with giggling or chuckling. It's very annoying. The narrator seem ok but the author seems to not write conversations well

I do not care if you are left or right, this book is nothing more than assumptions and lies. He attempts to sound like he understands economics but anyone that has some basic understanding is laughing at his statements. For example, in the first chapter he says that the free market is responsible for the 2008 recession and blames credit default swaps for the economic recession. This plainly shows he has no idea what he is talking about. He constantly makes unfounded assumptions then treats them like facts and states the solution without any explanation.
The fact is, I listened to this book because it is required reading for my daughter's freshmen class. The idea that any college considers this to be worth study as a serious book, and not as an example of the lack of knowledge, is scary,

I was hoping for more

I was going to say the narration was really bad, but as I thought about it I am not sure there was a way to make this book sound good. I don't mind a little adult content but it was way too descriptive with conversations going on that were even more unrealistic. Character's actions seemed random and unexplained and the whole premise was juvenile. People treated the MC like he was a terrible monster while he spoke like an nerd with no social skills or self confidence. With that being said there were moments that were ok and the setting had potential

was not that funny

this was not as good as I hoped. maybe it was just not my style but I found the characters actions a little random. Not funny just random. The writing was not bad though and the narrator was good.

this was really hard to listen to world building was sparse and the characters were two dimensional and acted like they were life long friends after having just met
