Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plainold "human error" are much more likely to kill him first.

The movie was great. The book was better. The reader did a great job. Especially portraying His sense of humor.

Historia
LAPD lieutenant detective Decker and his wife, Rina, have willingly welcomed fifteen-year-old Gabriel Whitman into their home. Gregory’s mother refuses to believe her son shot himself and convinces Decker to look deeper. What he finds disturbs him. The gun used in the tragedy was stolen....

What did you like best about Gun Games? What did you like least?
Love Faye Kellerman stories. Did not care for this one even though it was well written as usual.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Do not care for YA books as I left my youth behind 60 years ago.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
Narration was very good. If I only hear the voice subliminaly I consider it great narration.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
No
Any additional comments?
Faye Kellermsn is one of my favorite writers. Her characters in this book were far to young for me. I do not read YA books & this was essentially a YA book. If the children had been that bit older I might have felt differently.

Historia
Atticus O’Sullivan, last of the Druids, lives peacefully in Arizona, running an occult bookshop and shape-shifting in his spare time to hunt with his Irish wolfhound. His neighbors and customers think that this handsome, tattooed Irish dude is about twenty-one years old - when in actuality, he’s twenty-one centuries old. Not to mention: He draws his power from the earth, possesses a sharp wit, and wields an even sharper magical sword known as Fragarach, the Answerer. Unfortunately, a very angry Celtic god wants that sword, and he’s hounded Atticus for centuries....

Great reader
Revisado: 03-05-12
If you could sum up Hounded in three words, what would they be?
Enjoyable, fun, easy
What was one of the most memorable moments of Hounded?
talking hound
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Laughed out loud a couple of times
Any additional comments?
This book has a terriffic reader. You forget there is a reader and see the picture in your head instead. I bought all three of these books because the stories are fun and the reader is so good. It is too bad the Harry Dresden books don't have this reader. Only thing wrong with this book is the way the reader pronounce Saquarro. If you like wizard, druids, witchs, gods, werewolves, vampires and big dogs that talk, you will love these books
