Historia
The author of the best seller Call Me by Your Name revisits its beguiling characters decades after their first meeting. In Find Me, Aciman shows us Elio’s father, Samuel, on a trip from Florence to Rome to visit Elio, who has become a gifted classical pianist. A chance encounter on the train with a beautiful young woman upends Sami’s plans and changes his life forever. Elio soon moves to Paris, where he, too, has a consequential affair, while Oliver, now a New England college professor with a family, finds himself contemplating a return trip across the Atlantic.

A Great Example Of Why Sequels Disappoint
Revisado: 03-03-22
This could be a whole other story, unrelated to Call Me By Your Name and it should be. It’s not good. It won’t keep your attention nor give you what you want as the main characters of the first book are barely in this and/or are unrecognizable. Had I took the time to read this versus listening to it, my review would be livid. I chose to ignore the harsh reviews and experience it for myself. A mistake.

Fans of Charlaine Harris’ best-selling Sookie Stackhouse novels will find much to enjoy in this companion to the immensely popular series. Included are a never-before-published novella and an exclusive interview with Alan Ball, creator of HBO’s True Blood. Sookie herself guides listeners on a tour of Bon Temps, gives them a peek at the werewolf and werepanther communities, provides a glimpse of her best friend Tara’s dress shop, and offers a look at Merlotte’s - the bar where Sookie earns her living.

A nice recap of all(?) the books. A short story. Fan questions with the author and Alan Ball. Those parts of this book are enjoyable. You don’t need to hear this to have closure on the series.

Historia
Area X has been cut off from the rest of the continent for decades. Nature has reclaimed the last vestiges of human civilization. The first expedition returned with reports of a pristine, Edenic landscape; all the members of the second expedition committed suicide; the third expedition died in a hail of gunfire as its members turned on one another; the members of the eleventh expedition returned as shadows of their former selves, and within months of their return, all had died of aggressive cancer.

There’s a dreamlike quality and braininess to this book that should satisfy those who loved the film, although they are different beasts.

So far the best of Hart’s books. The author reading it helps visualize these stories and brings her world to life.

In teeming Victorian London, where lavish wealth and appalling poverty live side by side, Edward Pierce charms the most prominent of the well-to-do as he cunningly orchestrates the crime of the century. Not great
Revisado: 01-24-19
If I’m correct they’re not on a train till the books end. It appears the actual story behind the robbery is so dull it was necessary to give details of the time period for 8/10’s of the book. Putting ‘great’ in the title is misleading as i thought this story would have the excitement of his other books. I was wrong.
Pass this title up, I regret finishing it.
