The narrator does an excellent job with what is undeniably meaty and complex material. Dion Fortune's work did a lot to bring the mysticism of the Qabalah to modern Pagan and Hermetical practice as we know it today. It is very dense material but worth it.

Each expert brought not just mythology, but a perspective on how to view mythology. The last expert pointed out that the changes to ancient myths might not have been due the biases of the chroniclers, but due to the story teller changing the story to make it more relevant to the chronicler. Myths are not just about the story, but about the relationship between the story teller and the listener, which perfectly captures the loss of the oral traditions.
