The main character is very different than most litrpg books I have read. He seems a bit evil and is all about getting revenge on anyone that wronged him.
Overall I enjoyed the book a lot and recommend it if you want a book with a different take on the LitRPG genre.

In order to be successful, he is given a Mech Core and acquires the Cymech class. There's just one problem: He's got no resources, apart from a mangy kid. At least the kid is a savvy engineer. With mere pieces of a mech build, Gnath is supposed to level up and take on dangerous enemies. Oh yea — he's also got to watch his stabilization. If he doesn't, he risks dying to the Cyborg effect.

I do love a good mech book. Overall this was a well told story but it doesn’t start out with any 20 foot tall mechs. But it looks like book 2 will have that. Can’t wait!!

I’m a huge fan of LitRPG books and this has been one of the best ones yet. The world is explained very well. Combat is great, while not being the main focus of the story. And the skills and spells are very unique and used in unique ways. 100% recommend this book and can’t wait for the next one.

Stop the LGBTQ nonsense....

I loved book one. But this book is just a joke to push LGBTQ crap as though it’s normal. It serves no purpose in the book and completely ruined the story. Why the hell is treating people with mental disorders like they are normal and don’t have a problem to be the new norm. Overall narration was great like normal but even Wil Wheaton can’t save this mess of a book. I will 100% be asking for a refund because this does not deserve a single cent.
