I loved this book. Harry's writing is so beautiful and heartbreaking. his voice is soothing and I love the poetic sounds of some of his writing. I highly recommend it!

hilarious and cute!

I was unsure if I was going to like this book once I heard the narrator, but my initial dislike of the narrator disappeared once I got into the story. It's a sweet romance that has a slow burn. If you don't like raunchy romances, this is a book for you! The narrator does a good job, I was just thrown off because her voice sounds older than the character, but she does a great job.

Hard to follow plot

This book was disappointing. The sex scenes we're great, but the rest left a lot to be desired. I downloaded this book because of Stephen Dexter because I love his voice, but he doesn't narrate that much. When it comes down to it, the narration was good, but the plot was all of the place and I felt like there were still loose ends when the book ended. Also, there were major plots points just kind of shoved in that could've used more development. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this. There are better audiobooks out there.

strange phrases

This book was okay. Not great and not totally terrible. I think the love interest was a flat character. He never fully developed as a character. you see glimpses - that his parents are rich, that he's a hot cop, that he was engaged, but you never see much beyond that. You don't see what he wants - he's more just there to serve the main character. I also think the main character was super immature in the way she talked especially as a first grade teacher. I wouldn't listen again, but it had some really funny moments.

over enunciation!!!!!

I was intrigues by the storyline, even though it was predictable, but this narrator drives me nuts!!! she over pronounces every h in a wh word like white or while. I could not take it. if that doesn't bother you the book is fine.

Narrator Lacking Emotional Depth

At times the narrator didn't have enough emotion in her voice. It was lacking in some areas. I think she could've played into it a bit more. she also mispronounced the word "meme" as "me-me" 🤦

The best book in this series!

This was so good!!! I was beginning to doubt Penny Reid because the last few male leads have NOT been good men to fall for (with the exception of Niko). I loved it from start to finish and out of the whole series I recommend this one! PS skip Sandra's love story it's not worth the time.

horrible made up words

Someone needs to tell Penny Reid to please stop making up words like man-sigh or manlicious. it's horrible. I have been enjoying most of this series, even though the male characters are controlling and over the top, but this one just disturbed me. the male lead is younger than the female lead, which is fine, but it kept on creeping me out because in many ways he is still like a child because he hasn't had the opportunity to develop in certain social ways. I would not recommend this. it's very disappointing.

frustratingly slow plot

I really struggled to finish this one. I love the idea of the plot, but there is a ridiculous amount of misunderstandings and the love interests circling each other. Also, some of the phrases Penny Reid uses are so ANNOYING! No one talks like that! there are a lot of made up words that are cringey and irritating.
