Historia
The world is no longer safe for the Dragon Rider Murtagh and his dragon, Thorn. An evil king has been toppled, and they are left to face the consequences of the reluctant role they played in his reign of terror. Now they are hated and alone, exiled to the outskirts of society. Throughout the land, hushed voices whisper of brittle ground and a faint scent of brimstone in the air—and Murtagh senses that something wicked lurks in the shadows of Alagaësia. So begins an epic journey into lands both familiar and untraveled.

The narrator is great, but that is all.
Revisado: 04-10-24
Awful, rambling, unconnected twaddle.
If you are expecting this to be some kind of continuation of the inheritance series, or it's characters, you will be dissapointed. Gerard Doyle does a great job of making this peice of literary garbage almost bearable to listen to one single time. Paolini... you have much to answer for.

Superb short story.

This is what a short story should be. Only the great Stephen King can do better than this. Give it a listen, you won't regret it.

I finally found it!
Revisado: 11-20-20
This was the first audiobook I ever heard. Given to me by a family friend when I was 10. The compact discs were used and in poor condition and I admit I lost a few of them. This may not be the most complete or definitive version of LOTR but it kindled my love for audiobooks and therefore will always hold a special place in my heart and now in my audio library as well.

Lackluster end to an attempt at an excellent tale.
Revisado: 07-09-20
I was left wondering why no part of the plot was resolved in any way. Not only a waste of one credit but a waste of them for all the previous books in the series as well.

Historia
In the middle of the night, in a house on a quiet street in suburban Minneapolis, intruders silently murder Luke Ellis' parents and load him into a black SUV. The operation takes less than two minutes. Luke will wake up at The Institute, in a room that looks just like his own, except there's no window. And outside his door are other doors, behind which are other kids with special talents - telekinesis and telepathy - who got to this place the same way Luke did: Kalisha, Nick, George, Iris, and 10-year-old Avery Dixon.

Has King gone senile?
Revisado: 11-02-19
As someone who has read and/or listened to 80 percent of King's works and loved or at least appreciated all of them, i am surprised at how disjointed and boring this story is. It is like Firestarter but without any exitement. The reader is alright, but i was so dissapointed with the story, i can't seem to stay interested enough to finish it. Please don't end your career on this one, Mr King. Fellow audible enthusiasts, don't waste a credit on it.

Historia
In Terry Pratchett's Reaper Man, Death has left Discworld - but that's not necessarily a good thing. After all, chaos always ensues whenever important public services are withdrawn, and Discworld is no exception. Society is suddenly overrun by ghosts and poltergeists, while Dead Rights activist Reg Shoe finds himself busier than he's ever been and newly-deceased wizard Windle Poons rises from his coffin as a living corpse.

One of the top 3 from the Discworld
Revisado: 01-11-19
Not only is Reaper Man everything you expect from Terry Pratchett's searing irony and gonzo storytelling style, but there is something very special and meaningful here.
The story is a look at mortality on a personal, interpersonal, and cultural basis.
Given that the main subject is Death, (the anthropomorphic personification as well as the entire concept) this book may seem slightly more serious than others on the early end of the discworld series. Yet Pratchett manages to maintain just as many hillarious tidbits that we discworld fans love and expect.
Nigel Planer is the original narrator for the series and the best voice of Death. He certainly worked his magic on this one.
Bottom line: Well worth a credit.
