Perfect Start to the season

I wanted a story to get me in the holiday mood and this was the perfect start. This was such a cute story and the voice actors were wonderful. I will listen to anything that Andi Arndt narrates so I figured I'd give it a shot. I was not disappointed. This is a comedic romance that definitely got a few chuckles from me. I loved the interaction between all of the characters. It made me feel like I was there. I'd love to find a little town like Tinsel. If you're looking for a lighthearted listen with just a pinch of angst, this is it.

Cute and easy listen with just enough spice

I love a good friends to lovers book and this hit the mark. It was just the right amount of spice to keep it interesting and get the point across. There’s also the family aspect that I really like. They’re a close family and it was great to hear those interactions. I can’t wait to read more from this series!!

Hot! Hot! Hot!

Hex and Shade…I’ve been waiting since they first started flirting with each other! Hex is smart and beautiful and down to earth. Shade is a badass with no time for love until Hex stops him in his tracks. I love their dynamic and love for each other. I wish there were more of this team. I hate to see them go!

Anna always delivers!

I love anything by Anna Hackett. She has a way of writing that just makes you want to keep going. I’ve only listened but if I were reading the physical book, it’s definitely be one of those nights where I stayed up just to finish it. Her characters are so personable while still being badass. The action is just enough without being over the top and her couples are just fire!!

Loved It!!!

At first I wasn't sure how I would like the story because it seemed to start out a little slow...that was my mistake. It quickly picked up and caught my attention. I loved everything about this book! The plot has been done before but Kenya made this her own and found a way to keep me wanting to finish. The characters were great and the drama was awesome! I would definitely recommend this book to my friends.

Loved It!!

This was a good book. I loved how it tells the story from different points of view. It's a different kind of infected story and I liked that about it. The story was entertaining and kept my attention, even with the few stumbles and mispronunciations of the narrator. The overall rating is 5 stars but the performance only 4 stars due to that. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that likes zombie/infected type stories.

Good story....horrible narrator.

I'll start with the story. The story line was good and I have loved Xyla Turners books in the past (Her "Mister" series) so I figured I'd enjoy this one also. I would've love it to be longer so that we could get to know them a little better but as a novella, it hit all the marks for me. Now, the narrator...I don't think she was a good fit. At times it was hard to tell who was speaking. She didn't do a good job with making the different female voices distinct and she just wasn't the right one to read this. It made it a little hard to get into the story. I almost DNF but pushed through. I think this would've been good if it was recorded as a duet. Over all I give this 4 stars.

I loved the "SEAL of Protection" series and thought I'd go ahead and try this series out also. Unfortunately, this first book was just...Okay. It was slow moving and didn't really pick up until towards the end. It seemed very stilted and not really a lot of action. I didn't like the female narrators voice at first but it kinda grew on me by the end. It wasn't horrible but it wasn't the best. I honestly don't think this is one that I'd recommend to anyone.

Wow, just wow!

No spoilers here but the end of this had me in tears. The narrator did a phenomenal job with this. I have loved all of the books in this series but this one and the first one are my two favorites. I look forward to reading/listening to more of her books.

Wonderful ending to an amazing series.

I have been hooked to this series from the start. I love the way Susan writes. She sucks you in and you’re wrapped up in the story like you’re a part of it. I love how this series was about different members of the SEAL team but it was also a continuation of the previous story. This was a nice ending. I’m now hooked and will be reading all of her books!
