Good story- strange narrator

I usually enjoy the narrators of Brendan Jackson's books. This narrator did not capture the masculinity of the Westmoreland men. I struggled thru the book because I like this series. I will just buy the Kindle edition of any books using this narrator.

I am disappointed.

Beverly Jenkins is one of my favorite authors. I am disappointed that I didn't really enjoy this book. It was too short. There was not enough time to adequately cover everything.
The love story and main characters lacked development. I felt as if I missed chapters dealing with the development of the main characters and their live story. The ending was very rushed.

I really enjoyed this book. It was great to catch up with Theo and Maddie. I don't want to spoil the book for my fellow readers. But this book is sexy with nice plot turns. It was worth the wait. The narrator was really added to the story. Good job!!

Would you consider the audio edition of Up at the College to be better than the print version?
I really enjoyed the print and the audio edition. Audio editions are great during long commutes or waiting for my daughter in my car.
If you could take any character from Up at the College out to dinner, who would it be and why?
I would love to take Yvonne Fountain out to dinner. I admire her faith in God and ability to forgive her ex-hubbie. Forgivenessis always followed by a blessing.
