Realistic for a story about monsters

The story did shy away from the character’s disabilities and there was no magical wave of a wand and everyone was made perfect, whether it was a failing heart or disfigured limbs, it was realistic and they all loved each despite that.
Quinn absolutely kicked ass, despite her inner voice telling her she couldn’t or should do something and she had her 4 handsome monsters wrapped around her finger but they weren’t so wrapped that they didn’t speak their mind to get her out of her darkening funk.
The final big fight between good & bad was a bit of a let down after all the hype about the leviathan and its immense power.
Over all I enjoyed this bundle of books and would recommend.

Couldn’t stop

I couldn’t stop listening to this book, it had my guts churning then my heart soaring, my heart broke and tears flowed for the time that they had lost, the decade of lies others spew at them, about them, believing they were true, until the lies come crashing down around everyone, leaving in the wake the only two people that matter most, raw, real and free from the poison.
I love Jade West books, they feel so real, like they could be someone’s life and in this book it felt like part of my own life had been laid bare.

Dark & Disturbing

H.D Carlton weaves another dark, disturbing and thoroughly engrossing story.
River has been through literal hell her entire childhood only to find that there’s more than one devil battling to rule hell now that she’s grown up, thankfully her knight in battle worn, beaten armour is there to save her, if only she’d let down her defences.

Two damaged and broken souls drawn together by their painful pasts, abused and used by people in authority, they come together to right the wrongs and prevent a boy from sinking into oblivion,
I am glad they get their HEA as dark as it is, they are each others light.

I took longer listening to this book than normal, prolonging the finish because I was fearful that it wouldn’t end the way I had hoped it would, there are so many ups & downs and hurdles for Rosie and Julian and the people around them.
Jade West has a way of wringing out every emotion in her writings.

I don’t think this is the best book in the series, but at least it answered questions from book 1 & 2.
Got a bit monotonous with Kyrin’s distrust/hatred for Lilith, but thankfully he got over it with Eli’s help.
I wish book 4 were available on audible, I so want to hear Doves story.

I was hooked from the very first book, Roam through to Reign, the intertwining stories were fascinating and sometimes a little confusing & entangled but smoothed out the more I listened, West & Roam were always destined for each other, despite all the harrowing and torturist things they had to deal with along the way.
The novella, West, at the very end, left me wondering, Why?!? There was no purpose to it, it just little snippets from the main books.
