waste of time and money
Revisado: 12-18-23
This book is super verbose and keeps talking about general stuff. You will waste 30 minutes in the beginning to hear the same thing again and again.

Terrible narrator

The book is great but not the Narration
Revisado: 03-29-23
The Narration can be improved a lot by making it slower and with different ups and downs. Currently the narration for this book reads like someone read it in a monotone without stopping. This can be very difficult to listen when driving or walking. I have never heard this kind of flat narration ever.

One of the finest book in my life
Revisado: 01-31-21
This is by far the best book I have ever read and I wish the whole world reads it and becomes like it. The price we pay by not following the agreements is the root cause of all our misery. This book should be a text book in every high school in the world and also every college and company.

We've all found ourselves checking email at the dinner table, holding our breath while waiting for Outlook to load, or sitting hunched in front of a screen for an hour longer than we intended. Mobile devices and the web have invaded our lives, and this is a big idea book that addresses one of the biggest questions of our age: Can we stay connected without diminishing our intelligence, attention spans, and ability to really live? Can we have it all?

very horrible book
Revisado: 08-05-15
What disappointed you about The Distraction Addiction?
The book was very boring and lame and constantly harping on lot of old stuff totally not related to the title
What was most disappointing about Alex Soojung-Kim Pang’s story?
abjectly boring book and very distracting itself. If Alex listens to the book then he will know how much distracted he was while writing the book. The book has no meat and keeps wandering to and fro
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Walter Dixon?
Walter is good
