This story was unlike any other I've ever heard/read. Truly beautiful and heartbreaking. Narrators were perfect- I follow everything Xe Sands narrates, and she knocked it out of the ballpark with this one. One of those rare listens that will stay with me forever.

So many details, plot twists, and if you stop paying attention for a couple of minutes, you will get lost! Had to re-listen to the last 20 min 3 different times to make sure I got the ending correct! Brilliant writing w excellent character development. And Vivienne Leheny is one of my all time favorite narrators- I search for listens around her sometimes. She's THAT good. Thank you, Donlea, for sharing your brilliant mind!

This book was one of Elin’s best yet! Character development was fantastic; multiple story lines and fabulous narration by Ms Bennett, as always! I always cried when it ended. As is with all of Elin’s books, you want to keep hearing about these characters. Where will they be in a year? Or 5 years? Who stays together? Who moves on? I still find myself thinking this with almost all of her previous novels. And I REALLY want to get to Nantucket.
