Historia
At the end of the 21st century, the world has changed dramatically, but life continues 1,000 feet below the ocean's surface. In Great Britain, sea creatures swim among the ruins of Big Ben and the Tower of London, and citizens waver between fear and hope: fear of what lurks in the abyss and hope that humanity will soon discover a way to reclaim the planet. Meanwhile, 16-year-old Leyla McQueen has her own problems to deal with.

Struggled to get into it, but then got sucked in!

Struggled to get into it, but once I finally got in to it, the story was really good. I prefer books with more world building though and felt the book lacked in this area. Overall worth the read!

Historia
A thousand years have passed since a dragon has been seen in the world. Science and technology have replaced magic, which has dwindled until it has become little more than an element of myth and legend. There are those who still have dragon blood flowing through their veins, distant descendants of the mighty creatures of old. These rare humans have the power to cast magic, the power to heal, and the power to craft alchemical weapons capable of starting wars...or ending them.

Ok, just don't expect earth shattering
Revisado: 04-13-21
I bit long winded and tad too much on the impossible romance side. Received a few eye rolls from me here and there. I liked the premise but was disappointed with the execution and also not willing to read the entire 8 book series just to know how it all ends. Not my kind of book

Historia
To the consternation of the patrician, Lord Vetinari, a new invention has arrived in Ankh-Morpork - a great clanging monster of a machine that harnesses the power of all of the elements: earth, air, fire and water. This being Ankh-Morpork, it’s soon drawing astonished crowds, some of whom caught the zeitgeist early and arrive armed with notepads and very sensible rainwear.

Sensational!!

Absolutely amazing. A worthy second last discworld book. The narrator is superb and his voice changes are perfect. You feel like you are there witnessing it all!
